New Blog Candy and Christmas Photos

This week Vicki Chrisman our design team leader is hosting a free blog candy giveaway with our products and she has choosen a great prize package you can win by simply entering here on her blog! You can also check out the stunning valentine cards she stamped using a combo of our French Mail and Cherub stamp sets which she has picked as part of the prize, plus - 1 sheet of Valentine Stickers, 1 of our Heartwarming Vintage Seasonal Booklets and 1 of our Sweetchips Houses!

Vicki will do a random draw on Jan 2, plus she is hosting another prize of 10 issues of Scrapbook Dimensions which she will draw on Jan 1, so if you enter you have a chance to win that as well!

Here is a sample of some of the pages from our Seasonal book included in the draw, so be sure to enter and check out all the cool ideas she has on her blog! Our Seasonal Booklet is one of our most popular selling titles in this series as the images work great to decorate cards or seasonal layouts, but people also love to use it to make calendars as the 12 month titles are also included on 2 pages in the book. As this is calendar season I will mention again that we have a free 2008 calendar download on our homepage at http://www.craftysecrets.com/ that prints the 12 months on 8.5 x 11" paper, so you can cut out the months to decorate mini calendars. Plus we have a blank calendar template designed to fit our calendar stamp set as a free download.
I promised I would post some Christmas photos and we had a really fun Christmas with 16 people for dinner. This is a photo of my 3 daughters and I wearing our silly hats. I'm so proud of my girls! Katie on the left just graduated with her Batchelor of Arts Degree! Chelsea (with her eyes closed) is in her first year in 4 year Recreation Therapy program to work with seniors and Holly on the right is the assisant to 2 owners of a big steel company. I am thrilled that they have all become best friends, as I use to worry listening to them argue when they were younger.
The other photo has their friends Leah, Samantha and Joanna. The name tags Chelsea and Katie are wearing (Santa and Diana Ross) are from a game we played called 'Who Am I?. Everyone gets a label on their back with a name which can be anyone famous including cartoon characters and they try and guess but can only ask 'yes' or 'no' questions. It's really fun and I love that it can go on for hours and can stop and start up again easily.

We do a big brunch every Christmas after we open gifts and invite my mom and dad. They have been wonderful helpers in my business! Besides our girls, my husband Scott and Katies boyfriend Ryan are in the photo. This other photo is of our dog Otis, our company mascot. He often has a goofy costume on but he isn't wearing his Santa suit this time. Ho, Ho Ho!

If your looking for New years ideas, tomorrow I'm going to post photos of party hats and festive cones with a pattern, so come back and visit. Plus there are all sorts of inspiring samples our fantastic design team continually creates that you can see here in our online Samply Gallery.
Cheers!
Sandy
