New Postcard Stamp Sets

Hi Everyone,

Yippee - I'm so happy you all love these new Vintage Postcard Kits as much as we do because there are more coming! The first 4 will be available to order Aug 1/09. The next 4 are coming later in August! I want to show you the 4 Stamp Sets included in the 4 new kits available August 1/09. We will have a limited number of kits available to buy at the Super Craft Show in Florida.

Here are the stamps sets included in the Baby Girl and Story Time Vintage Postcard Kits and samples I showed HERE

Stamp Set from Story Time Kit is 3 x 2.75" has 11 separate very cute stamps! The 2 scroll ends can be stamped on the end of the long piece to build a frame or you can stamp the smallest decorative piece on either end. The little boy in the circle is dropping sleepy dust and the bunnies can listen to the little story teller girl. I love the Postcard with the feather, inkwell, words, OK I love everything on this set and think it will be fun to use on letters, envelopes, children's projects and journaling!

This Stamp set included in the Baby Girl Vintage Postcard Kit turned out so adorable with the little roses as the theme and it will look so pretty stamped in pink or the roses colored in pastels . Use the long piece as the postcard divider and later under stamped words, a name, or to build a frame. I love the stork, scallop postmark and look at that cute duck with the hat!
I adore the warm sunny colors, crystal buttons, beads, lace and duck pin on this sample DT member Michelle Kovack created with one of the images in the Baby Girl Kit!

Look at the way Michelle stamped the back of her postcard vertically here and used light and dark brown ink and shading to add extra vintage charm

DT member Marissa Grosson created this very sweet baby girl album below using on of the postcard images and some of our Baby Girl Stickers. Marissa only lives 30 minutes away from me so she dropped off some fantastic samples for the CHA show and got more images and the little stamps sets from the kits and made a very cute Halloween card you can see on her blog HERE with the more photos of her baby album!!

Here are the Clear Art Stamp Sets included in the Halloween and Christmas Kits and samples I showed HERE, plus you can enter out Vintage Postcard Kit and Clear Art Stamp Giveaway!
This stamp set included in the Christmas Postcard Kit has 7 separate stamps and it turned out so classy and fun! After you're done making your postcards, it will be great to decorate Christmas cards, envelopes, albums pages and holiday keepsakes. I LOVe the decorative dividing line that Cindy, our graphic designer added and it works great to build corners and frames as well.
Plus, for all of you that wanted to know how DT member Anna Wight inked her awesome Christmas Postcard – she posted details HERE on her blog.
This is the stamp set from the Halloween Postcard Kit and it has 8 super cute separate stamps. I love everything about this set and I didn't even realize (duh) that DT member Pam Hooten used some of the stamps to create background paper for her Halloween garland I showed on the last post. Plus this set has 2 greetings stamps as well!
DT members Lisa Zappa and Vicki Chrisman are coming to work our booth #1513 at both the CHA Show and the Super Craft Show in Orlando, FL and they will be running our make-n-take table and yes - some will feature the postcards! Plus - www.splitcoaststampers.com is also coming to the Super Craft Show and Lisa is teaching a Christmas Postcard make-n-take on Sat 9 – 11 in the Splitcoast booth!
Now you have to check out these fantastic Vintage Postcard projects! Here is another great Halloween cards Lisa created and you can see others and the backs HERE on Lisa’s blog.

You also have to check out this very cool Halloween album HERE that DT leader Vicki created for CHA and samples for her class at Jennifer & Kim’s store Mystic Paper in Mesa, AZ

More CHA Vintage Postcard Kits and 2 Giveaways!

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with more of our NEW Vintage Postcard Kits! Yesterday I showed you the Baby Girl and Story Time Kits HERE and today I have the Halloween and Christmas Kits to show you.

Plus - we are doing 2 giveaways, The first is for for all 4 Vintage Postcard Kits! The second draw will be for both of our new Thanksgiving and Mouse Party Stamp sets! Just leave a comment here on this blog post and be sure to leave your contact info or check back. The random draw for both prize packs is next Friday, July 24/09

This is the packaging for the Halloween Vintage Postcard Kit. Yesterdays post allowed you to click each image to see more detail. Lets hope it works here today!

Each of the Vintage Postcard Kits will include: a custom Clear Art Stamp Set, 6 large postcard size images, 12 smaller images embellishments and 18 ivory chipboard pieces. You will be able to create 6 separate Postcards or you can turn them into garlands, albums, ornaments and keepsakes. Sugested retail is $12.95. Our graphic designer Cindy van Koll worked her magic on these kits! Plus there are 4 more new kits coming soon!

DT member Marisa Grosson created this sample using one of the large Halloween images she glued on the ivory chipboard and went around the outside edge with a gold metallic marker. She added wire, beads and one of the little chipboard hearts and the little witch image. Then she used black Fun Flock on all 3 of the cats and they look so cute and fuzzy! I'm amazed that you can still see their faces so well.

Marisa didn't have the little Halloween stamp set that comes with each kit, so I quickly did this sample today so I could see what my Gold Glimmer Mist would look like and I love sparkle, so I also added a little orange glitter. The Halloween stamp set included has 8 separate stamps. I will post all 4 sets this week as I don't have the files here now.

DT member Vicki Chrisman created this pretty postcard and I love how she added the little black and crystal sticky gems down the sides, ribbon and pom pom trim. The kits don't include trim as we thought everyone would want to do different things. You could hang them by jute, twill, ribbon, wire, raffia or lace.

DT member Pam Hooten designed this cute Halloween garland, cutting out various images in the kit and adding her own Halloween papers. I like how she spelled Boo across the bottom with big buttons for OO's

DT member Michelle Kovack inked around the edges of her sweet card below and added black glitter to the spiders body. The images are adorable!

Below is a postcard DT member Lisa Zappa did adding strips of the words from one of the image sheets. She added orange glitter around the outside edge of her card and one of the little stars and some buttons and ribbon.
Here's a Halloween postcard back Lisa did using all the stamps from the set except for the little ghost. She glued the image with the witch on the moon to one of the chipboard stamps and added some sparkly wire.
This is the packaging for the Christmas Vintage Postcard Kit. I love the mix of colorful retro and old fashioned Christmas images in this kit. Hopefully it gets larger when you click on it.

I like the way Lisa hung her little embellished chipboard pieces to this flourish piece of chipboard she had and added the red glitter on her postcard below.
The Christmas stamp set included in this kit has 7 separate stamps and Lisa used them all here except for the Merry Christmas stamp. The paper is from our Earthy Paper Pad.
DT member Marisa Grosson glued Flower Soft all over the Christmas tree on this postcard below and I hope it enlarges when you click it on, so you can see how cool it looks! She used a gold metallic pen around the outside edge of her card and added gold wire she twisted around her pen with little holly buttons and one of the small images glued to the chipboard star.
I adore this postcard DT member Anna Wight made adding the extra vintage feel with the inking she did around all her edges. The wire and old bell add to the rustic charm.
I will have to ask Anna to post this card on her blog and tell us how she created this lovely inked postcard back on the ivory chipboard. I like the way she stamped the little holly leaves around the outside edge and postmark in brown and the rest in black.

Okay, don't forget to leave a comment here on this blog post if you want to be entered into the draw July 24th for all 4 Postcard Kits, or to win the new Thanksgiving and Mouse Party Clear Art Stamp Sets! Click HERE if you missed seeing the Baby Girl and story Time Kits or the new Thanksgiving stamp set. Mouse Party is already available HERE.

Ask your favorite store to order these in for you. If they are going to the Orlando CHA Show please tell them we are in Booth 1513. We will also be staying for the retail Craft Super Show which starts after and running Vintage Postcard make-n-takes at both shows!

Wishing you Joy & Creativity!

CHA - New Vintage Postcard Kits & New Stamp Set!

I want to announce our Vintage Postcard Kits and a new stamp set called Thanksgiving!

Today I'm going to show you two of the Postcard Kits for Baby Girl and Story Time. Tomorrow I will show you the Halloween and Christmas Kits! I'm so excited about these and the other kits we will be introducing at the 2009 CHA show in Florida July 28-3oth.

Each of the Vintage Postcard Kits will include: a custom Clear Art Stamp Set, 6 large postcard size images, 12 smaller images embellishments and 18 ivory chipboard pieces. You will be able to create 6 separate Postcards or you can turn them into garlands, albums, ornaments and keepsakes!
This is the Baby Girl Kit shown below and a Baby Boy Kit will be coming soon.

Here is a beautiful baby album that DT member Heidi Blankenship created using the chipboard with two of the postcard size images, some of the smaller chipboard accent images and some of our Baby Girl Stickers.
You can see the little stork stamp included in the kit which Heidi used here on the left page below. There are 8 separate stamps on the mini stamp set included. Each kit will also includes 6 large postcard size images along with 6 little chipboard stamps, 3 stars and 3 hearts and 12 images for embellishing your postcards.
Heidi added a chipboard star below which she mounted on cardstock she cut and embossed with the largest Spellbinders Nestibilities Labels 4 Die - which matches our postcards! You can see how the largest fits on the right side and there are several smaller ones in the set that would make great embellishments.

Heidi used our Heartwarming Vintage Baby Girl Stickers on the left page below and one of the postcard images on the right page. I love the way she used her Copic airbrush to ink around the edges of her pages. She will be posting more pages from this adorable album on here blog shortly and I will add links tomorrow.

This is the kit packaging for our Story Time Vintage Postcard Kit. It includes a Clear Art Stamp set with 10 separate stamps and the same number of images and chipboard pieces as the other kits. Don't you think these would look so cute in a child's room or to create as a birthday card keepsake? I think 3 hung together vertically or strung together as a garland would look adorable! If you mail your postcards you can decorate the envelope as well.

Look at this cute postcard that DT member Vicki Chrisman created using one of the six large images from the kit. Vicki used wire to hang her postcard and I love the way she added beads, twill and one of the chipboard stars. You can't see the star clearly on this photo but she glued a little clown image on it. The ivory chipboard is perfect for stamping directly on the back of your postcard or you can stamp on light colored paper and glue it on. It's also soft enough that a tracing wheel (look in your sewing basket) works fantastic for adding a faux stitched edge as Vicki did here. She also punched a hole in the bottom to add a bead and a bell but you could hang one of the chipboard hearts or stars included, or any number of embellishments you have such as charms, crystals, a tassel and so on.

This is one of our new Clear Art Stamps called SL 22 Thanksgiving. This is a large set with 22 separate stamps! They can be used in multiple creative ways to dress up Fall and Thanksgiving table decor such as menus and placecards, or decorate invitations, cards and scrapbook pages!

Look at this pretty card that DT member Michele Kovack designed using one of the largest stamps (almost 2 x 4"). I love the way she used her Copic Markers to color the stamp and then stamped the sentiment across the bottom. The felt flower, button, jute finish it off perfectly.

DT member Lisa Zappa created this fun card featuring both turkey stamps and the dressed turkey steals the show with his colorful attire! I love the stitching and the way Lisa used the printed papers from our Earthy Paper Pad with the red cardstock.

DT member Marisa Grosson created this adorable card using the little girl and boy from the stamp set pulling on the big wishbone. Marisa also used paper from our Earthy Paper Pad and I love the way she layered her card using the Spellbinders Nestibilities Labels 4 Die set.

Our Vintage Postcard Kits and this Thanksgiving Clear Art Stamp set will be released at the CHA Show. We will be in Booth 1513 and offering fabulous Make-n-Takes during the Wholesale TradeShow and the retail Super Show!
Please come back tomorrow to check out the Halloween and Christmas Vintage Postcard Kits and some of the fabulous samples our design team has created!
I will also be annoucing a great Vintage Postcard Giveaway!
