Winner of Our Giveaway, New Samples, Challenge, New Giveaway & Download Links!

Hi Everyone,

We have a random winner for the prize package Giveaway for  our Photo Studio Clear Art Stamp set, Summertime Booklet and Travel Creative Scraps. There were 139 entries and ccongratulations to # 2, Lacey from North Dakota who said: "Welcome Mary and best wishes to Deborah! What a fantastic giveaway.  I ADORE that stamp set and it is on my list of stamps I need. THe list is long. Thanks! Fantastic creations by your DT".

I have a bunch of fantastic samples to show you today including this very cute shabby card that DT member Pam Hooten created using an image from our new double sided Girlfriend Creative Scraps and Pam used our Artsy Banner Stamp Set to create the scallop border across the top of her card. You can see more photos and get the details HERE on Pam's Blog.

Everyone seems to be in love with this set. Look at this cute birthday layout below that DT member Linda Duke created using Artsy Banners with our ABC Top Hat Alphabet set and SpellBinders products. You can get all the details and see more photos HERE on Linda's Blog

Or check out this adorable Birthday card DT member Julie Campbell created for her daughter Annie using Artsy Banners HERE on Julie's Blog.  Plus, if you missed the inspiring Video that DT member Vicki Chrisman made you can watch her Artsy Banner Creative Ideas Video HERE!

I love all the details on this charming 'Farewell to Summer' card DT Member Michele Kovack created using our new Bathing Beauty  Stamp set. The way she used multiple layers and stitched around her kraft paper card all add to the natural but classy style!  You can get all the details HERE on Michele's Blog.

Look at this adorable little birthday calender album DT member Melissa Phillips created using a mix of our images like the grouchy fairy from our Altered Fairy Scraps.  January has the little snow kids from our Christmas Booklet, on May she used an image from our Calendar Scraps and another fairy on her  June page. The combination of pastel colors, glitter, ink, ribbon and chipboard from Tattered Angels make it such a pretty keepsake!  You can see more photos HERE on Melissa's Blog

I also spotted a bunch of awesome cards HERE on Cherry Nelson's Blog using a combination of our Sew Nice Creative Scraps with our Sew Special and Material Girl Clear Art Stamp Sets. This card below shows one of the images she used with the 'Hem Your Blessings With Thanks' stamp from our Sew Special set.

There is a new Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers that Jan Hennings is hosting to use any of our products to create a Fall theme project. Look at this cute Halloween card Jan created and you can get the challenge details HERE and see the Gallery HERE of other samples people have started submitting.

I missed posting the challenge that Marcy Talbert hosted last week at Splitcoast to use any of our stickers on a project but look at this cute card Marcy made using our School Time Stickers that would be perfect to welcome a new teacher. You can see the other great samples in the Gallery HERE and we have so many stickers they take up 4 pages HERE.

I also wanted to show you this wonderful Christmas card that Beate Johns created using one of the sentiments from our ever popular Vintage Christmas Clear Art Stamp Set.  You can get all the details HERE on Beate's Blog and check out the adorable card she made HERE with our Fairyland stamp set.

Lastly, I wanted to share some links to some of the free downloads we have on our website. I was away Friday and Monday, so I had Cindy send out our big newsletter which now goes to over 12,000 subscribers and she added a link  (which stopped working) to the free Hammock image I posted HERE on my last blog post. You can get the big image right from the blog or go HERE to our website and download it and other free images.  I'm sorry, our website is so old but we are getting our NEW WEBSITE next month, so you have to scroll down the far left side and you can click on the Hammock as well as the Pink Rose Card DT member Julie Campbell used below on this Mother layout or the Mother Poem. You can read Julie's touching blog post HERE about her Grandmother and the memory box she left her.

We have been busy shipping lots of new orders to stores so if you see any of our items you like please ask your favorite retailer or check our Store Locator.

We have also been working on new products and will have a new small stamp set called Christmas Mail available next month as well as new Double sided Altered Fairy Scraps, plus 2 NEW Creative Scraps on press today called Little Blessings and Vintage Photos and all I can say is THEY ALL TURNED OUT FANTASTIC and I can hardly wait to show you!

Wishing you all joy & creativity!

Today is our Design Team New Product DT Challenge plus I have a new DT member to introduce to you!  We also have a giveaway you can enter to win our new Photo Studio Stamp set - plus I have some great free printable gifts for you!

Please welcome Mary Hammer our new Design Team member! You can learn more about Mary HERE and check out what she created for today's challenge HERE on her blog.

Also be sure to click on each of the links below to see what all the rest of our DT ladies have created! I think you are in for a treat!

· Vicki Chrisman Team Leader

· Pam Hooten

· Heidi Blankenship

· Marisa Grosson

· Linda Duke

· Michele Kovack

· Melissa Phillips

· Flo from France

· Julie Campbell

Deborah March has left our Design Team Design Team but I'm happy to tell you she has been a busy lady and has had 16 projects published now using our products! In fact the current (Fall) issue of Paper Creations contains three of her cards using Crafty Secrets Halloween images and papers and you can see more cards HERE on Deborah's Blog.     I know you will all join me in wishing her more success!

Now I want to show you our new Photo Studio Clear Art Stamp Set that just arrived and we are giving one set away with a Summertime Image & Journal Notes Booklet and a sheet of our Travel Creative Scraps! All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this blog post.

SL34 Photo Studio is a 6 x 8” large size Clear Art Stamp set with 24 separate stamps! It offers many creative possibilities for embellishing the fronts and backs of photos, scrapbook layouts, albums, journals, cards, stationary and an array of altered art projects. The antique lettering ‘Artist & Photographer is 2.5 x 1.5”, 'ALBUM' framed is 3.5” and the negative strip is 2.5”. Also includes: a Date Stamp; No. stamp, a Photo Log Label, words, quotes, 4 cameras, 2 decorative toppers, 3 corner styles, cute mouse and various bits to embellish with. The lettering on ‘From the Photographic Studio of’ is designed to have a name added which can be written or stamped over one of the decorative lines. Made in the USA from high quality photopolymer.

Lastly, I have a free printable gift for you. I was trying to pick an image when I came across this great Summertime drawing in a 1893  book of a lady in a hammock and I included the instructions in case you want to make your own. Jessica in our office recently bought a hammock and we also read a great article in the current issue of Mary Jane Farm Magazine (where I just started advertising) and all of us in the office fell in love with the hammock they have instructions for on pg 80 created from a vintage brocade drape panel. Their instruction are way easier than these ones I found and theirs looks so inviting!

Here is the image, which you can left click with your mouse and you may have to click it twice to get to the largest size and save it to a picture file. You can print it on cardstock in card size or larger to create a piece of wall art and it would be fun to color! I laughed at the comment on page 161 that says; 'Anyone can knit a hammock and it should cost no more than 50 cents' - Hah! Anyways, if you macrame one or create one from an old curtain be sure to send me a photo and I will post it. I would love to also see any creations made from this image!

I had to include this page as the writing conveys so perfectly wonderful it feels to spend a lazy summer afternoon relaxing- even in 1893!  I didn't post all of these pages full size as they would take up massive space but they should get larger when you click then each on.

That's all until next time.  Don't forget to go visit all the DT ladies blogs to see their creations and post a comment here to be entered to win our giveaway package.  A random winner will be announced next Tuesday, Aug. 31/10

I hope you are having a wonderful summer!

Fabulous Samples & Don't Forget to Visit Monday, Aug 23!

Hi Everyone,

I have some great samples to share with you today, plus I wanted to tell you about our Design Team Challenge this Mon, Aug 23/10 where I will be announcing a new DT Member, doing a giveaway and posting a little printable gift for you! Be sure to come back and see everything.

For now, check out these new samples, including this fun retro birthday card that DT leader Vicki Chrisman designed for Kate who just turned 25. She used an image from our Homemade Booklet and our Sexy Little No. Stamp set and I love her rhinestone bling! Vicki is off on a family trip right now but she has friends/guest bloggers HERE on her blog. (including the talented Cat & Nat so far) and you can leave a comment Thurs, Fri or Sat to be entered to win goodies!

I'm in love with this beautiful wall art frame that DT member Heidi Blankenship created by decorating a wood box top using our new double sided Bird & Blossom Scraps, Glimmer Mist and  You can see step by photos and get the supply details HERE on Heidi's blog.

How about this pretty card DT member Melissa Phillips designed using an image from the Bird & Blossom Creative Scraps as well. Melissa also used the sheet music stamp from our Artsy Banners set to stamp her chipboard and used the script stamp and the text one from the same set to stamp on 2 more stunning cards HERE on her blog as well as a cute Halloween card HERE.

This is a fun 3D card DT member Julie Campbell created using an image from our new double sided Travel Creative Scraps. I love the way she cut out the bathing beauty lady and popped her up. You have to see the other great card she created with the other couple from the same Travel sheet HERE on Julie's blog.   Plus look at these Girlfriend cards HERE

Look at this cute Halloween decoration DT member Michele Kovack whipped up HERE by placing an image from our Halloween Image & Journal Notes Booklet under one of our Mini Chipboard Frames she sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I like the black glitter she added and these would also look great mounted on a card, on a black wreath, strung together or tied to a little treat bag. Here is a link to the Mini Frames but sorry the photo is gone

  1. I also want to tell you about the 'Brown Bag' challenge that Pammy-Jo is hosting over at Splitcoaststampers HERE and encourage you to join in! You can use any Crafty Secrets products and just incorporate a brown bag in some way. Check out the different samples in the Gallery HERE like the brown bag flower 'I-love-rubber' made for her lunch bag birds sample. I adore this treat bag Pammy-Jo made using our Halloween medium stamp set.

Lastly, I wanted to show you a great card Shari Morris created for one of her class projects she is teaching at 2 stores using our Greetings From Wonderland Stamp set and some of our Halloween stamps. You can see the class shedule HERE on Shari's blog for Scraptasia in Berkeley Heights, NJ and at Scrappers Cove in Milltown, NJ, plus scroll down to see her fabulous valentine card created with the bunny from our Greetings & Sentiments Clear Art Stamp set.

I planned to show you some fun photos I took on the weekend at the costume dinner party we attended but my camera will not let me download any photos, in fact I can't even view them online anymore - drat! Time for a new camera.

Don't forget to come back and see all the wonderful creations and good stuff this Monday!

Wishing you joy & creativity

Pretty FP Metal Frames, Cards, Recipe Album, New Arrival and Challenge!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are having a fantastic summer!  After a really busy week I'm so happy we are going to to our little trailer at the beach today for the annual BBQ and it's a Mardi Gras theme.  I have a colorful outfit and just need to hit the dollar store for some crazy jewelry. I packed my camera - but have to remember to take photos! I'm one of those people that always kicks myself after when I reminisce later and think of all the photos I should have taken. My new goal is to Take More Photos!  We are waiting for our Photo Studio Stamp set to arrive but Costume Cuties is in stock now!

I think you will love these beautiful metal frames from Fancy Pants that DT leader Vicki Chrisman altered with a bunch of images from our Creative Scraps. On the two below she used images from the Birds & Blossoms Scraps.  You can see several more HERE on Vicki's Blog. When we get our new website next month we will be selling these frames and cross promoting them with project sheets to the retailers we sell to as well.

Look how pretty these are with a few beads and the little charm Vicki added. These are heavy nice metal frames and would make great gifts!

How cute is this card that DT member Julie Campbell created using our new Bathing Beauties Clear Art Stamps. You can see the other card Julie made using the the lady standing on the bow of a boat (like Kate Winslet in the Titanic movie) HERE on Julie's 'Bathing Beauty' blog post.

I love this altered recipe album DT member Linda Duke created using a mix of Spellbinders Dies with our new Domestic Goddess Scraps , Little Chef  stamps and the large cutlery is from our Kitchen Classics Clear Art Stamps. You can see more pages and get all the details HERE on Linda's Blog.

Here is our new Costumes Cuties Clear Art Stamp set in case you missed it in previous posts. Our medium size Halloween stamp set from last year was so popular we decided to take inspiration from it and include more fun characters but I'm truly amazed at how many things Cindy, our graphic designer, fit on this set.  21 separate wonderful stamps to be exact! Our DT ladies just received a bunch of our new stamp sets, so you will be seeing more samples!

Look at this awesome tag DT member Pam Hooten made HERE on her blog using images from our new Double sided Halloween Scraps. I love the way she cut one of the images into little triangles to create a mini banner and added the tickets, bingo card and game board from the sheet. She even cut out the clock hand to add to the game.

Lastly, Darlene Pavlick is hosting a fun challenge you can join in on over Splitcoaststampers to use blue in any project you create using our products.  I was going to post Darlene's cute card here but realized she used our Cooking Cotton Scraps and I didn't want to make you sad because they are all sold out. So, I'm showing a sample that Elizabeth ( i_love_rubber ) from Vancouver, BC created using our Travel Creative Scraps, available in single (on sale) or double sided!   You can get all the details from Darlene HERE and go check out the great samples HERE people have started posting!

We have started shipping CHA orders to stores but if you can't find our products locally - please ask your favorite store to order in anything you like.

That's all folks until next time!

Wishing you joy & creativity

New Stock Arrived, Our CHA Video with Amy Coon and Some Great Samples!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know some of our new stock arrived and will start shipping to stores and is available in our Shopatron Store.  Artsy Banners and Bathing Beauties large stamp sets are in and our new double sided Travel and Merry Christmas Creative Scraps. You can also ask your fav store to order any of these items you like.

Look at the way DT leader Vicki Chrisman used various stamps from the Artsy Banner set HERE on her bingo card over and under the 'Glamour Girl' image from our new Girlfriends Scraps.

Here is the new Bathing Beauties stamp set that just arrived and a pretty card DT member Marisa Grosson designed using the new set which you can see HERE on Marisa's Blog.

HERE are the new Merry Christmas double sided Creative Scraps that are in stock now.I'm so happy the colors on these turned out perfect and I love collage style backs and mini tickets our graphic designer Cindy created! But - you can still buy the single sided Christmas Scraps on sale for $2.50 while supplies last and we have them all on sale to our retail stores as well.

HERE are the new Travel double sided Creative Scraps that are in stock now. I hope these get bigger if you click them on. I love the mix of retro images, the mini luggage labels, travel brochures and journal frames. But - you can still buy the original single sided Travel Scraps on sale for $2.50 while supplies last.

Our new double sided Girlfriends Scraps arrived and will be added later today or Monday to the Shopatron store ( errg-they wouldn't load now). I think we made the most changes to these . We added lots of sassy phrases but gave the option to use them or not. I love the new images and the pink tickets our graphic designer Cindy designed turned out so cute!  You can still buy the original single sided Girlfriend Scraps on sale for $2.50 HERE while supplies last.

Look at this fantastic little card case DT member Marisa Grosson just created using the new Girlfriend Scraps and you can see more photos and the 3 cards she made using the same sheet HERE on Marisa's blog.

I also found some other great samples to show you like these cute cards DT member Julie Campbell created. She used our Sew Nice Creative Scraps on this first one and she has a bunch of fun old retro photos of ladies in her family wearing 'stylish outfits' HERE on her blog. Look at her cute card using the kitchey ladies from our Domestic Goddess Scraps.

I love how adorable this card turned out that DT member Michele Kovack created. The little children are from our Seasonal Calendar Scraps and you can get more details HERE on Michele's Blog.

I also wanted to tell you about the Fun With Fabric challenge over at Splitcoast hosted by Lori Lynn Washburn to use any of our products with fabric in some way. You can stamp on fabric like Lori did here to make her flower on her sweet card using our Bird Note Stamps. You can get the details from Lori HERE and see the Gallery HERE - so come join in the fun!

I also wanted to tell you about a GIVEAWAY that past Guest DT member Melisa Waldorf is doing HERE on her blog for one of our large Clear Art Stamp sets called Garden Girls! Melisa has created some awesome projects using our products you can see HERE in her Crafty Secrets Gallery.  Look at this great beach layout using our Seaside Stamp set

The lovely Amy Coon from The Paper Life came by our booth at the CHA Show and interviewed me for a video you can watch HERE. She is so sweet and it was spur of the moment but it was fun! I was so nervous I forgot to show the new stamps and babbled a bit. Why is it so scary to be in front of a camera?

Wishing you joy & creativity
