Retro and Vintage Kitchen Kit and Stamp Update

Hi Everyone,

Gee by now those of you who know me probably already know how excited I get when we release new product, sometimes too excited like today - I planned on adding our new Kitchen Kits and Digital Stamp Sets to our Store but the kits are over 200 MB each and my webmaster tells me we need to get our server company to increase our download size.  UPDATE:  I did manage to get the Kitchen Queen Digital Stamps Set uploaded to our store! This part 1 preview has the sizes

Here are all of the images in this set, except these are smaller. I'm working on larger preview sheets with the sizes for the rest shown here.

The stamp set above goes great with the Retro Kitchen Kits I'm trying to get added to our store.
There will also be a Vintage Kitchen Digital Stamp Set to go with our Kitchen Memories Kit.

Seriously - I feel like these are the best sets we've ever done!  Mind you I felt that way with each CD, then our Garden and Sewing Collections but these are looking so great and it's something we all have in common - we all have to eat and cooking cam be such a rewarding hobby and one of the best skills to teach your kids.

It was bugging me that although we have an amazing amount of cool images I felt we were short on words, so my graphics lady Cindy and I got carried away and created a bunch more for the stamps sets and both Kits. I love the way Cindy did this lettering with the embossed edges.

Here's an updated preview of the Kitchen Memories Kit and check out the 'Love and Laughter Hankie I made.

The bears were not working on the honeycomb paper so I searched through all my Valentines and found 2 cute bees which look cuter and the Bears are going in Kitchen Memories Kit on some yellow stitched fabric paper.  I'm in love with the 3D napkin below and the doilys I showed you before.

Thanks for your patience with the kits!
Sandy

New Retro Kitchen and Kitchen Memories Digital Kits and Stamps!

Hi Everyone!

I've been in hiding all week sick with a cold and trying to wrap up our New Kitchen Digital Kits and Stamp Sets. I am so excited to show you as they are overflowing with fabulous stuff! I still have to tag all the files properly and get them uploaded to the store so they won't go live until Monday but I will come back and add the links. We also have a lucky random.org winner for our Oct Linky Party and it was #2 Heather - but everyone else who played will receive a Free Retro or Kitchen Memories Kit!

What I'm most excited about is how big the images can be digitally and you can re-size them. We never could have made clear stamps this size that would stamp well or printed our images as large but these can be made tiny or jumbo to suit your project! There is a Retro Kitchen and a Kitchen Memories Kits that include printable papers, recipe cards, tabs, labels, covers and PNG images, which means they have been cut out, plus matching Stamp Sets. This lady is a PNG image in the Retro Kit.

Sorry for the delay posting these - I got totally caught up as I'm doing way more of the Photoshop Design and Cindy van Koll has been helping and is the 'master' but she works from home now and everyone has had the flu bug! These are papers and some of the extras included

Look at this awesome pot holder stitched card by DT Member Diane Hoover she created using papers and images from our Kitchen Cuts which are included in the Kit. The apron is actually made from a stamp in our Kitchen Classics Digital Kit.

Here's a close up showing more details

Here are the some of the PNG files included but there are some others besides these

Here's a cute yellow fridge included.

Then there is a matching Retro Kitchen Digital Stamp Set packed with all sorts of great B/W kitchey graphics to match the color paper and images in the Kit.This set will have about 45 or more stamps. The sizes are a bit misleading as a small design can look large and a full page may look small so click on the page below to see the different sizes at 300 dpi.

Here's the Kitchen Memories Digital Kit with all the papers, recipe cards, divider tabs, and image sheets included. I adore the graphics in this kit

You can see the amazing detail on the 4 Doily designs included. They really look like 3D die cut linen when I digitally tested them over the red texture 'paper' included. There is a heart and 3 assorted round scallop style designs all between 4 to 6" at 300 dpi. You can change the dpi and enlarge the images and they will still print nice or shrink them small for tags and little embellishments. You can also print them on different colors and surfaces like  canvas to tissue paper. I will do some new Tutorials showing ideas using these sets.

These 3 Menu cards will also be included and the colors on them are beautiful

I didn't have time to make a larger page of this Digital Kitchen Memories Stamp Set but it is one of my favorites with all the cool old graphics and lettering from the late 1800's to early 1900's.  We actually changed a some of the packaging to make it more 'ours' and have better names. I will update it with larger images and the sizes when I have time. This set focuses more on food and the Retro Kitchen Stamp Set has more utensils. I hope you can see the fun Vegetable Cookbook when you click it on. I changed it to be by Mrs. B Tasty, published by the Eat Your Veggies Co.

I will come back and add all the links to the store  and send a link to the kits to all the ladies who joined our October Linky Party.

Thanks for your patience and I hope you have a fantadtic weekend!

Free Autumn Fairy Printable and Others, New Samples and More!

Happy Thanksgiving from Canada!  Yep - we have to do things different in Canada and today is our Thanksgiving. I always feel like our Canadian Thanksgiving comes too early for me but you can feel it's getting cooler and the leaves are changing color after a glorious warm summer. I have a wonderful Free Printable and some great samples to share, as well as a reminder that you still have a week left to enter our October Linky Party and all entries will receive our New Kitchen Printable Kit (available next week, see preview with link)!

Here's our NEW Autumn Greetings Fairy Free Printable, a thank you gift for stopping by.  I'm truly grateful for all our fabulous customers over the years both old and new! Simply left click on it until it gets as large as possible and then right click it to save to your computer. For personal use only please.

We have a new Free Printable Link List but I thought I would update and re-post some past Fall Printables here. Last year for 2013 I gave away our Serenity Prayer Digital Stamp Set you can find here in honor of my dad who has since passed away last January.

In 2012 our Fall Free Printable was this beautiful Autumn Blessings Floral Print. We also included it in our Thanksgiving Digital Kit  just in case anyone missed it as a freebie.

In 2011 our free Fall Printable were these great hand lettered Gratitude Quotes.

Okay, now I have some great samples to show you  like this one by our October Guest Designer LeeAnne Pugliese using a piece of our Fall Cotton Scraps printed on a thick Cotton Twill fabric and on sale for $1.95 - or also included in our Halloween and Fall Super Sale Pack for $19.95 plus $4.95 shipping, or you can also purchase this as a Printable Fall Download for $1.95 and receive an immediate download link and re-size and re-print the images over and over for years to come.

DT Member Darlene Pavlick used the Fall Printable Download sheet to create this lovely Autumn card and you can see the details on her blog.

I'm also loving this pretty breast cancer support card by DT Member Michele Kovack she created using our Love and Clear Support Set and colored it with Copic Markers . Yeah - we still have some of these Clear Stamp Sets left and there only $3.50!  Look at how she colored and added the breast cancer ribbon stamp and used a blue ink to match the corset. It's also available in digital and you can learn how to color a digital stamp here using the program 'Paint'.  I will ask ask DT Member Sheila Rumney if she can do a Photoshop Tutorial on coloring digital stamps.

I came back to add this link to our 2 New 2015 Free Printable Calendars in 2 styles on white and aged. We have been posting these calendars for several years and there are links to sample ideas!

We were invited out to our friends house for a family Thanksgiving dinner last night and we did a big family dinner here last weekend - so tonight we are changing the tradition and have reservations for 15 at our favorite Asian Restaurant Empire Garden and then we will come back here for pumpkin and apple pie!

That's all for now but I will be back soon and have some exciting new designs to show you!

I also changed our Free Download Gift this month to our quirky Birthday Dreams Printable which is a fun 2 page ready to print card and gift tag normally $2.95 but free this month when you place an order simply add it to your cart.  You can change it into a invitation using the other mini framed picture frame 'It's Party Time' and sentiment 'Save the Date to Celebrate!'  I made this sample by printing the lady twice and cutting out a second arm, feather and framed picture to add to the card with pop dots for a 3D effect.

I have so many beautiful and fun samples by our Design Team to catch up on including this adorable Halloween card by DT Leader Kathy Clement who is smitten with our CD's and used the pumpkin girls from CD 2 along with a Halloween Download.

Kathy also used our Illustrations CD 2 to create this cute owl wall hanging and she has all the details on her blog.  You can also see another adorable baby owl card Kathy made.

Look at this cool Witching Card by DT Member Michele Kovack she created using this image from our Halloween Scraps.

DT Member Darlene Pavlick created this cute folding card and decorated it with some of our .99 cent printable paper  and our Little Blessing Scraps.  You can also see a sweet 'Grandma' card Darlene made using our Little Blessing Scraps.

This is the double sheet of .99 cent printable Chenille paper Darlene used which is also in our Pastel Paper Pad which we still have left

Darlene made this romantic card  using our Love Mail Scraps and Pink Faux Embossed .99 cent Papers.  It would be great for an anniversary

How about these super cute Boo Blocks by DT Member Diane Hoover that she created by gluing  images and papers from our Halloween CD 4 on each side of wood blocks.

Diane also made this Masquerade Ball card using a piece of our Halloween Creative Scraps and paper from our Halloween CD

If you need to make a guy card check out this classic car card by DT Member Melody Clement she made using our Car Classics Digital Stamp Set with red check paper from our CD #1 Creating With Vintage Patterns. I love how she cut the car out so it looks like it ripped through the paper and added Glossy Accents to the windshield.

Melody also created this stunning Garden Journal   using our Garden Digital Papers, and Garden Printable Sheet as well as which you can get all the details on the link to her blog

Lastly I have 3 quick Digital Tutorials by DT Member Sheila Rumney using Photoshop Elements. This first one shows How to Use the Shape Tool to create embellishments or journal boxes.

On this second Tutorial Sheila shows how to change the intensity of a pattern paper

Lastly on this Tutorial, Sheila shows how to change the color of printable papers to suit various themes and colors.

Our October Linky Party starts tomorrow and will run for 2 weeks. We had some problems with the $6.00 Free Gift Card not working easy for a few people so I'm going to change it and offer a New Digital Download Package as the Free Gift for entering any sample you have created using a Crafty Secrets Product.  Stay tune for more details tomorrow and come see what our Design Team ladies and Guest DT Lee Ann Barrett have whipped up!
