NEW Clearance Pricing & Digital Halloween Update!

Hi Everyone,

The New Clearance Sale pricing has been added and is finally showing up in our Shopatron Store and  in our Etsy Store !

If you missed the news I posted yesterday you can read it HERE. My biggest reason for selling everything off is because it is too difficult running the business from Canada when most of our sales are to the USA and the exchange rate has decreased profits too much. Offering our designs digitally will make my life so much easier!  Don't panic - there is a HUGE amount of many items in stock!  I need to make up a wholesale price list tomorrow for stores and it can't be half of these prices but there will be great deals!

This is a quick post as I need to drive across the border to pick up my hubby Scott from the airport and the border line-up will likely be crazy!

Here is a peek at more of the digital Halloween files, which will be sold in digital download groups on Etsy this Mon, Sept 10/12 and also on a CD next week.  Some people may only want to buy the paper and others may want just the templates or image files and have the instant convenience that digital downloads offer.

 Thanks for all your support!

Sandy

Halloween Digital Preview, Giveaways and Big SALE News!

Hi Everyone,

I have some BIG SALE NEWS to share at the end of the post and a preview to our Digital Halloween files!  I'm also going to have random.org pick 6 winners from our current Linky Party to receive our NEW Creating With Vintage Halloween CD and we will email them digital links to all the files.  There will also be a $50.00 gift certificate winner so come enter!

We are trying madly to wrap up this CD but I keep adding more designs (like Halloween Washi tape) and Cindy is finishing up the templates. There will be a haunted house shaped gift box, 2 lanterns, a candy box, games, paper dolls and so much more!  Click on each of the boxes below to see everything larger!    You can see most of the papers in this first box

I didn't really plan on doing a Halloween CD with Cindy (our graphic design) and myself being on Summer holidays a bunch - but I couldn't stand it as I have so much great stuff!  Now we are running out of time with Halloween coming so the race is on!

Besides the CD which will retail for $15.99 like our CD's 1, 2 & 3, there will be digital downloads added to our Etsy Store.  Our Shopatron Store does NOT work well for digital products.  Our files are really high resolution so you can print images BIG, so we are trying to see how else to email large files besides yousendit.com does anyone know of a better download site or what do you think of Dropbox for getting files?

The digital files will be divided up into groups and I would LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS -
Do you think we should add witch hats to the kids in the photos?  See 2nd box, or add to the 2 ladies in the first box with the bingo skirt?  I thought we could have a sheet with some 'accessories' so you could add different witch hats, a broom etc and size them to fit various photo and use digitally or print and cut them out for a 3D look.

Please leave your feedback and don't forget to enter our Sept Linky Party or go have a peek at what people have started adding.  There are only 2 entries so far!

Okay - now the NEWS!  My stamp manufacture moved the plant and we've had a horrible time getting stock delivered and sales have fallen off.  (I am SO SORRY to everyone who ordered Halloween Labels for the huge delay and you will all get a free medium stamp set and extra gifts for your patience.)  I've been talking about changing over to digital for ages and I have just decided to go for it.  We are waiting for drafts of our 2 NEW Christmas Clear Art Stamp Sets and I will place orders for them and one more order for our top selling stamp sets but I'm going to discount all our stamp sets further as well as all our printed items.  Prices will all get reduced starting tomorrow when I have Mona back in the office.

THESE WILL BE the NEW SALE PRICES:
Large Stamp Sets were $24.99 will be $15.50
Medium Stamps were $14.99 will be $9.00
Small Stamp Sets were $7.50 will be $4.50
Creative Scraps originally $3.50 will be $2.50
Cardstock Stickers originally $2.35 will be $1.50
Vintage Cuts originally $1.75 will be $1.00
Postcard Kits originally $12.75 will be $9.50 (cuz hubby Scott has to make them up)
Image & Journal Note Booklets originally $6.75 will be 4.00

If you just ordered and we haven't shipped it yet we will contact you to see what extra FREE gifts we can add, as I can't change the Shopatron invoices. I'm going to try and change the Etsy prices today but Shopatron needs excel spread sheets and there are over 200 items, so I need to wait for Mona or Jessica.

Am I sad?  No I'm excited because I've been learning Photoshop and have been working on a bunch of new products like Digital Christmas, plus a line of T-shirts, art prints, greeting cards, mugs, iphone and ipad cases and more for a Zazzle Store I want to start (they print & ship) and we will offer many of the same images as 'DIY Designs' in our Etsy Store so you can print your own T-shirts, pillows and more, plus design kits with themes like calendars.  Plus, I have an idea for a little 'craft club' I want to start that will be so much fun!
Scott will also be happy to have me selling things that don't take up more space!

I know stampers will be sad when our Clear Art Stamp Sets run out of stock - but we will have tutorials showing all the cool things you can do with those images digitally as they can be re-sized larger and will be on CD's in themes.

Big Hugs to all you sad stampers!

Sandy

Sept Linky Party, Vicki's Bag Tutorial & Giveaway & Samples!

Welcome to our Sept Linky Party - plus I also have some great samples to share.  Scroll to the bottom to enter or see this months Linky Party Samples!

DT Leader Vicki Chrisman has a bunch of great cotton gift bags on her Blog she's altered with images from our CD's and Stamp Sets - plus she has a Giveaway for CD #3 and a bunch of blank bags from State Line Bag Co!  You can check out all the bags and her tips and leave a
comment to be entered to WIN up until Sept 7/12.

Vicki used a combination of stamps from Costume Cuties and Jolly Halloween.  The bags come in a variety of sizes making them versatile to hold so many things!

I love these rose bags she did with iron on transfer paper and images from CD #2. Check out the artist supply bag she did by reducing an image from CD #2 and you can see the bags she stamped and sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

Look at this adorable birthday card DT Member Michele Kovack designed using our new Animal Party Stamp Set. It looks like the perfect card for a little or big boy!

I love this ABC Book that DT Member Julie Campbell created by printing the ABC pages on cardstock from CD #3 Creating With Vintage Typography. The pages print 4 to a 8.5 x 11" page - but with 300 pixel resolution you can crop and enlarge the pages using multiple free photo sizing programs safe to download from from cnet.com and read all the reviews.

Here's a fun altered Halloween page DT Member Marilyn McIldoon created using our Halloween Creative Scraps

I love the soft pastel colors that Marie-alice used on this pretty birdie card she stamped with our Sing For Joy Set

Marie-alice also colored this pretty Christmas card for a challenge using Ranger's Rich Razzleberry, Green Galore and lights lemonade colors and although you might not think of this combo on a Christmas card look how pretty and festive it turned out.  She used the snow kids from our Winter Wishes Clear Art Stamp Set.

I will be back tomorrow afternoon to show you our new Halloween CD and all the files have turned out Fangtastic and is packed full!  Digital downloads will also be available.

Now here's your chance to enter our Sept Linky Party, which snuck up this month so I didn't send a reminder and it's a holiday but you have all week to enter any project you have created using Crafty Secrets image products or Clear Art Stamps. You just click the link button below to add your image and link to your blog or a gallery and tell us what you used.  A random.org winner will be announced next Monday to WIN a $50.00 Crafty Secrets Gift Certificate!

Altered Halloween Spoons, Art Journal, Banner, Travel and Fun Stamped Cards!

Hi Everyone,

I have some fun projects to share today and a special free gift to tell you about when you scroll down below to see the Art Journal.

Read Vicki's blog post to see how she altered these fun Halloween spoons using a variety of images from our Halloween Cuts, Double Sided Scraps and new Jolly Halloween Stamp Set and you can see all of our Halloween theme stuff here.

We have a bunch of our Wood Clip Board Albums on SALE for $1.95 to clear them out - but you will receive a FREE Wood Album as an EXTRA GIFT if you purchase CD # 3 or our Art Studio set until Oct 1/12.  They are basically a 6" x 8.5" wood front and back cover and 2 binder rings.  This was a fun Art Journal DT leader Vicki Chrisman designed using paper and images from CD #3.  The magnify glass and ART word are PNG files on the CD layered over the script paper with the bird.  Vicki used Glimmer Mist to spray white cardstock for the inside pages and stamped them using our Art Studio Set. Click image to see pages big.  Also see Vicki's 'Love Vintage' Banner on Scrapbook Adhesives Blog

DT Member Julie Campbell was dreaming of places she would love to travel to and created this fun card and a cute travel Tag you can see on her blog.  The tag would be great to stick in a plastic luggage tag holder with contact info on the other side.

Julie is a wonderful story teller with an amazing collection of family photos she's been scrapbooking like this one of her great-great-great grandmother she created using papers from CD #1.  You can read about her families journey in the mid 1800's here on Julie's Blog.

I love this classy Halloween card by Marie-alice using our Costume Cuties stamp set

Great coloring job Marie!

Sophie la Fontaine has a wonderful knack of coming different stamp sets to create unique whimsical scenes like this adorable one she designed using the Mouse from Cutie Cats , the Mushroom from Fairyland , Postal cancellation from Artsy Banner , "For You" from our Animal Party set and the flock of birds are from Bird Notes. Also see Sophie's cute Puppy Pals card here.

We are trying to wrap up a cool Halloween Digital Kit I will show you next week.    Have a fun and fabulous weekend!

4000 FB Fan Winner! Men's Layout, Watercolor Tips, Samples and Nebraska & BC Sale Links!

Hi Everyone,

Wow - we have over 4000 Facebook Fans and our 4000th Fan was Joanna Munster from Queensland Australia who has won a $40.00 Crafty Secrets Gift Certificate!

Look at this cool layout that DT Leader Vicki Chrisman created with our new Mustache Men Stamp Set.  If you go to Vicki's Blog you can see close up details, plus all her mustache men and info about her big Flea Market Fall Festival she and her Art Group have planned Oct 5 & 6 if you are in Nebraska.  If you live close to me in Surrey BC - see my link for our big Garage Sale this Sat, Aug 18 at end of this post.

I'm in love with this purple and orange inking and the way DT Member Pam Hooten used both our new Halloween Stamp Sets Halloween Labels and Jolly Halloween on this cute Halloween tag. Also check out the spooky ATC card Pam made!

See how easy it is to make a quick card and how you don't always need to color your images.  DT Member Marilyn McIldoon simply stamped the elephant from our Animal Party Stamps on some polka-dot paper and inked it up a bit. The matching border colors pull it all together and make it more festive.

I think what I love most about using watercolor pens and pencils is the dreamy soft effect you can create like the background that Sophie La Fontaine did on this sweet card below using our Fairy Wishes Clear Art Stamp Set   using Tim Holtz Watercolor Makers.

Sophie says she likes using a clear plastic sheet to scribble the marker colors on and a water or a paint brush to paint with.  She prefers using watercolor paper and says it works better to lighten and blend colors. Later she goes in with the tip of her watercolor marker to add detail and extra shading and can soften and blend the colors again using her brush. Here are Sophie's Tips from last year simply using paints & a brush.

Then today Sophie posted this adorable smartie cat card in her gallery over at Splitcoast and I had to show you it as well. She used our Cutie Cat stamps with an image from our Childhood Booklet

Then I saw Marie-alice's card and realized she and Sophie probably made cards togther again and look at her cute back to school card with her 'Yale wanna be smartie cat'!

I've been busy helping my mom get ready for a BIG GARAGE SALE we are having this Saturday, Aug 18th at a friends house.  Our driveway is too sloped and our friend has a massive paved area out front.  I posted the ad on Craigslist today and I know hardly any of you live close to Surrey, BC Canada - too bad  but if you do, come by and say hi!!    I called it the:  MULTI FAMILY ESTATE, COLLECTIBLE GARAGE SALE of the CENTURY! and posted photos.

I have a fun kit special to show you next week!

 Wishing you joy & creativity!
