New Giveaway for CD, Metal Frames & Fruit Notepads! Sale on Cotton Scraps!

Hi Everyone,  Blogger wouldn't let me add any photos today, but it's working now. I thought it was me, until it did it to Vicki. I guess we can't complain - it's free!

Please be sure to enter our Giveaway today and I will announce a winner tomorrow for our New CD, a sheet of our Mini Vintage Scraps and some great Tattered Angels Chipboard Albums I will be showing you tomorrow.  They  discontinued several items to focus on their Glimmer Mist but these creamy off white albums are fabulous for spraying, stamping and inking!

Congratulations to # 4, Melissa Bove our random.org winner today, who wins our new CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns, a sheet of our Mini Vintage Creative Scraps, 3 mini frames and an Apple and Pear Mini Note Pads .  When I went to Melissa's Blog to look for her email the first thing I saw was this adorable shabby card she created with our Little Girl Stamp set for a Simon Says Sketch Challenge.

We've added these blank pendants to our Shopatron Store.
JSR01 – Round 1” Pendant in Silver Finish - These work great with our Mini Vintage Creative Scraps with the flowers, butterflies, birds and collage designs but you can also add stamped art or keepsake photos. Adhere images with a variety of adhesives. We are currently out of stock of 1” round epoxy stickers but you can use any sealer or leave it mat. Try doodling on images with a Clear Gelly Roll Pen to add extra sparkle without the messy glitter. They make a pretty accent tied with ribbon for friends, babies and seasonal gifts and cards. The solid metal bail is built into the mold, so no jump ring is needed.

I'm working on getting these antique Brass frames added as well. They will sell for $1.99.

We also add these Epoxy Stickers to our store today!
JCA01-Clear 3D Epoxy Square 1" Stickers work great with our Mini Vintage Creative Scraps. You can quickly add that little unique embellishment to cards and a variety of creative projects with no fuss and glue.  Create little jewelry pieces from pins to pendants. You can use them over images like flowers and birds, or place over stamped art or small photos. Try punching a window in a card front and place the 3D sticker image inside the card to peek through.  Note: these are not a really thick raised 3D dome top but the 20 stickers per sheet work out to less than .15 cents each, $2.99

Here are 2 more fun items we are selling now, Mini Note Pads in a Apple and Pear, $2.99 each and they look like little pieces of art.  The apple is almost 4" tall with a real wood stem and a apple seed printed on each page and includes a paper clip (asst colors) and a little white mesh fruit wrap. We are going to wholesale these as well. They come wrapped flat.

The Pear Note Pad is almost 4" tall when folded open and comes with a color paper clip (asst colors) and a little white mesh wrap (like you see on fancy pears at the grocery store. The stem is wooden with a pear seed on each page. $2.99  each.

The little fruit wraps included with each piece are white, although these below look pink and the apples look like a perfect red and ours are more BRIGHT RED.  The pears are bright just like above.

I also marked down all of our remaining Homespun Cotton Scraps from $5.75 to $4.50 and I wanted to show you these pretty samples that I spotted on Annette's Paper Bistro Blog

Look at this amazing 3D pretty card that DT Member Linda Duke created using our Art Bloom stamp set!  I love all the layers she added and the soft pastel colors she got with her Copic Markers. You can see a bunch of close up photos and get great coloring tips HERE on Linda's Blog

Digital designer Amy Teets is one of our new Design Team Members and I'm thrilled she has joined us as we needed a digital queen like Amy because we are new & green with our new CD! I love how she added the lace digitally across the top. The little 3D boxes are probably from a frame set she designed and they really show off the papers and make this a really interesting layout.

I have to admit it's very exciting for us to see the papers and design elements from the new CD used and how well they work and the creative possibilities! Wow - the cream screws, doily and flower really do look 3D.  Yippee! You can see the 3rd layout on Amy's Blog.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz is also one of our new Design Team Members and she is so sweet, she sent me this adorable little card she made using a free image I posted on the blog. She covered one of the Embossed Mini Frames with glitter (that Tattered Angels discontinued and I bought a bunch of). Everyone loves the frames mainly so we split them up into pkgs of 12 and will be selling the alphas also.  I love cream chipboard way more than grey.

Gini Cagle is also a new Design Team Member and look at how pretty our Rose stamp set looks that she colored in peach for this 3D card she made. All of our DT ladies are doing a Childhood theme challenge this Monday!

Tomorrow I will show you some more great samples and we will be adding some of the cream color Chipboard Albums Tattered Angels discontinued.

Don't forget to leave a comment to enter to win one of each of the 4 Albums, our new CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns and a sheet of our new Creative Scraps!

Wishing you joy & creativity

2 Winners and Day 2, New Mini Scraps, Embossed Frames & Fab Samples!

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday's post on our new CD had to be divided into 2 parts, so I just had random.org pick two winners to each receive our CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns, plus a sheet of our new Mini Creative Scraps, a sheet of epoxy clear stickers and a package of Embossed Frames!  Winners were #98 Beth from the first post and I found her email but #84 Kristina M. Anderson... I couldn't see a google link or email listed, so I hope you read this and contact us with your mailing address

Here are our new Mini Vintage Creative Scraps!  DT Member Viola Mahr helped design this set along with our Cindy van Koll and they turned out so pretty!
I emailed Viola a big bunch of images and she worked her magic at home in Singapore.

CS 18 -DS “Mini Vintage” Creative Scraps include a large collection of 60 beautiful mini images from ¾” square to 2”x3” in size, more than any other CS sheet yet and that is only the front sides. The backs are a lovely collage of vintage images and patterns that work great with punches and the Epiphany Button makers. The images are perfect for blank jewelry, making buttons, inchies, as card accents, embellishing ATC's, bottle caps and altered art projects. We've included 25 fun confetti style words with “ Hello”, “a little birdie told me” and” Vintage Girl “ as well as mini decorative expressions’ with “the latest news”,” I’d rather be in Paris”,” Bachelor Girls” and “Artisan Studio”. Dimensions: 19-inch by 8-inch when open double sided and 9-1/2-inch by 8-inch when folded for easy storage. Click on the sample a couple of times to see it larger!

Every order this week for the new CD will receive a sheet of our New Mini Vintage Creative Scraps! The CD orders that were to go out yesterday got held up waiting for the insert, so they all get a free sheet of Vintage Mini Scraps!

We will be adding some pendants and clear epoxy stickers to the Shopatron Store but it's temporarily down. See the sweet little fairy girl near the bottom right? She will be on one of our new large stamp sets coming out next month called Born to Fly.

DT Leader Vicki Chrisman designed all these samples for our make & take. The cream frames are sprayed with Glimmer Mist and lightly antiqued with a bit of brown ink on a sponge. The images are from our Vintage Photos and Birds & Blossoms Creative Scraps, but several Scraps and Image Booklets work great.

Speaking of DT Member Viola, (who helped design some of our Mini Scraps), look at this stunning card she created HERE using using the raspberries from our Garden Scraps, bird cage is from our Birdies stamp set and I love her matchy ribbon.

I adore this card DT member Michele Kovack created using an image from our Couple of Cuties Clear Art Stamp set and the way she colored it in such warm sunshiney colors! See the details HERE on Michele's Blog.

DT Member Julie Campbell created this mini layout HERE of her great aunt using one of the journal cards on our new CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns. The typewriter is from our Office 101 stamp set.

Look at this pretty card that DT Member Tammy Roberts created with an image from our Sew Nice Creative Scraps. Scroll down to see the wonderful Teacup Pincushion she also made.

This teacup pincushion Tammy made is so pretty and now I'm wondering what some of our CD floral papers would look like printed on a piece of white printable fabric.

I wanted to show you this very cute card that DT Member Jan Hennings created HERE using the 'cowboy kids' from our Farm Fresh Scraps.

I will be back tomorrow with another post and more samples from other DT ladies, new items and a another free CD to give away, so be sure to leave a comment each day!

Wishing YOU joy & creativity

Part #2 New CD Details, Samples, Daily Giveaways & New Products!

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with Part 2, and was finally able to add the copyright page and extra embellishments included on our new CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns (retail $15.99). It's available in our online Shopatron store and will start shipping to stores. To celebrate I will have daily giveaways this week for the new CD, plus - some great new products we are adding! We also have a special for stores, buy 9 get 1 free with a limited license to print papers for store samples and classes.

See my Part #1 post here if you missed it, showing all the pattern papers and templates. Once we got all the papers on the CD finished we had so much fun adding matching extras! Check out the alphabet, embellishments, frames, etc on these 2 preview pages included on the CD.

DT Leader Vicki Chrisman created the flowers and there is a great mix of color and B&W frames, plus lots of kitchy style papers, ready to print recipe cards,  journal cards, tags, hardware, lace, corners, templates and more!

Look at these fabulous digital layouts created by some of our DT ladies!  I will have more samples to show you this week with non-digital projects created by simply printing the patterns on different mediums!
Okay, I defragged and re-booted my computer and it's letting me add to this post!  Below is the copyright info on the CD.  As I mentioned before I know several card makers who sell some of their cards part time to earn extra income and I want people like that to be able to use papers from the CD, but we had to make some rules. There will be  an annual limited commercial license for $15.99. People interested need to apply and we will be adding a form to the website. All sellers will be added to a updated website list and they must include credit to Crafty Secrets on the product or with it. I need to protect our designs and our next 2 CD's will have all kinds of illustrations which have cost me thousand$ of $$$.
*Note: If you purchase a CD you can use the designs on your own personal blog providing you give us credit and include a link to our website or blog. A link button for the CD designs will be available later this week.

We have an Angel Policy and do no not charge a fee to use our Clear Art Stamps or Heartwarming Vintage Images but we do ask that you give us credit and we have small free logo stamps we can send you. Our Angel Policy is listed HERE on our website.

Okay, now I have a few cute samples to show you!  Look at this adorable tag I spotted on
DT Member Pam Hooten's Blog created using our Feeling Yucky Stamp Set and printing some of the designs from our new CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns on cheap typing paper.
I will be posting some printing tips and links to printers and ink this week.

I also wanted to show you this very pretty card that Pam also created HERE with our new Clear Art Stamp Set; Love You Mother and explain about a typo we missed. If you ordered this stamp set you may have one with a missing 'r' and we will send you a new poem stamp if you email a request to Jessica at:    office@craftysecrets.com  I love the way Pam colored her nest and used the blossom stamp from the set and added little pearls to the centers.

Okay, don't forget to leave a comment to be entered to win! There will be daily drawings with each post this week for the new CD and some of the extra new products we will be adding daily to our Shopatron Store this week - including new Mini Vintage Creative Scraps I will show you tomorrow along with some pendants!

I have lots of catching up to do and need to tell you about our new Design Team ladies!  We have been busy working on 15 new Clear Art Stamp sets since I got home from vacation last week and I'm super excited about them also!

See you tomorrow

Part #1 New CD, Daily Giveaways, New Scraps & Free Printable!

Hi Everyone!
NOTE: I maxed out my space so this is Part #1, so I will post Part 2 next.

It's been ages since my last post and I have all sorts of goodies to show you.
Today is about the CD and tomorrow I will show our new Mini Creative Scraps - and a new product each day this week!  Every day I will announce a WINNER for our New CD and add extra gifts - so leave a comment eac day to enter!

First, HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the DAD'S out there! I made a card for my father yesterday and decided to include this old fishing label as a printable but ran into problems with Blogger, so it super late. You likely already have a card but this would make a cute place card or cake topper. We are taking my dad for his favorite - Fish & Chips. Later our 3 daughters are treating Scott to dinner and I get to tag along.
Note: Our free vintage printables are for personal use only. Double click the label with the right side of your mouse a couple of times, so it gets bigger, then click it with the left side of your mouse to save it to a picture file
Everyone has been waiting for more of our new CD's to arrive (we sold out in Texas) and they are finally here!  Here it is: Creating with Vintage Patterns! They sell for $15.99 I apologize we don't have any info on our website on the CD!  We are trying to find a new webmaster, so if you know a great one - please email me. The CD comes in an envelope attached inside this double sided card.

You can click on the covers a couple of times to see them larger.  The CD includes ready to print papers and embellishments in jpg and PNG files for Windows or Mac.  I think our graphic designer Cindy van Koll deserves a huge round of applause for creating all the papers! We lived, ate and breathed paper designs for months and she doesn't even like making paper!

I so very grateful to have been able to have digital expert and author Patty Debowski from    www.TheDigitalScrapbookTeacher.com  write a great tutorial included on the CD that has great digital tips, plus - step by step instructions on how she created this layout with her parents wedding photo using only papers and embellishments on the CD.

Note - Digi usser's there are 173 items and all the jpegs are tagged for easy organizing

Okay - look what is included on this CD!
I've included the copyright info at the end. I was going to make the CD for personal use only but there are so many ladies with little part time businesses selling hand made cards and crafts, I've decided to offer a limited license for $15.95.  I will be posting full details shortly.

These PNG files below are transparent so they can be layered and you can change the colors using digital software like Photoshop Elements. Non Digital users can simply print the patterns on any color paper or cardstock to suit their theme. For those of you that have been following the progress, I was originally just going to include B&W papers but once we go going - that changed!

You can see one of the black PNG damask designs printed on different colors of cardstock below. Printed on red would make a great Christmas paper.

I wanted to include some templates which you can print on the back of any papers or cardstock. There is a 3D envelope. A library card and folding tag, 2 gift boxes and a Tussie Mussie Treat Container.  There will be some really fun templates on the next CD, Creating with Vintage Illustrations. We just need to take a 'CD break' to finish our 15 new Clear Art Stamp Sets!

Yikes - the rest of my post disapeared! I think I had too many photos listed, so I will be back today and repost the rest of it.

Don't forget to leave a comment as I will draw a winner every day this week for our new CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns, plus - include a new item!

Wishing you joy & creativity

Photos from Great American Scrapbook Show & Links to Great Samples!

Greetings from Texas!

I'm posting from our hotel room at the Great American Scrapbook Show in Arlington, TX. We went to Olive Garden for a great dinner and Scott fell asleep shortly after we got back to the room. Vicki and I both felt like 'Zombies' last night so I decided to do my post quick this morning .Go check out her post HERE.  Here's some other photos from the show.

Sarah Hemphill is helping in the booth again this year and here she is running our make & take table in the photo above while Vicki was teaching our class with one of our other helpers Susan Tidwell.

The brass pendants below were a $1.00 make & take we did in the afternoon. We've been raising money for a local Meals on Wheels office. I will be adding some of these new items to our Shoptron store when I get home, plus - we will have NEW Mini Vintage Scraps!

Here is our little 'Sewing & Art Studio display.

Here us a photo of Susan and myself and look at this cool lampshade display idea.

Michele Kovack  created this gorgeous card using our Love Mail Creative Scraps for her husband for their anniversary.

Heidi Blankenship  created this patriotic card with an image from our Seasonal Booklet and a Spellbinders die.

Linda Duke created this very pretty card using our Garden Girl Scraps

Julie Campbell made this card using our Domestic Goddess Scraps and new papers from our CD. I promise we will add the CD to the online store as soon as we get the next shipment in (next week I hope).

Okay, off to the last day of the show!

Sandy
