New Samples and See Us at WA Stamp Show!

Hi Everyone,

I'm leaving for the Heirloom Stamp & Paper Arts Show in Puyallup, WA this morning to set up for this fun show this Sat & Sun. I'm bringing a ton of fantastic samples, lots of stock, antique postcards, sale items and some very cool pendant kits to sell with a new line we are testing at this show called Petite Collage sheets!
Check out this Birds & Blossoms sheet, one of 3 themes that our talented graphic design Cindy van Koll created! I should have more details on these in my next post.

The show is at the Puyallup Fairgrounds and you can get details HERE. I would love to meet you if you can make it to the show!

Plus - if you mention this blog post you will get a free sheet of our new Creative Scraps with any purchase over $10.00 (one per customer).

On a personal note I wanted to ask if any of you have a thyroid problem if you have had any success with any desiccated natural thyroid such as Armour? See this article:
http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

I’ve been battling an under active thyroid for a few years now and Synthroid is not working well for me. I was so desperate I went to a Naturopath last week ($258.00 later) she has me on new pills but they just came in a no name envelope and I forgot to ask the name – duh! She said to take 2 if I didn’t feel better after a week, so I started taking 2 yesterday and finally feel a bit better but they are expensive. I found an online source for Armour (with a prescription) that seems like a good deal and wonder if anyone else has had success?

Okay, now on to some great samples to share with you!

DT member Heidi Blankenship has been on a roll creating all sorts of samples like this beautiful angel friendship card with our Girlfriends Creative Scraps. You can get the step by step details on her angel card HERE.

You also need to go check out the sweet little baby card Heidi made with an image from our Joys of Life Booklet on her blog HERE. You need to scroll down past some other samples but check out her JustRite & Spellbinders Pasta project! After the baby card, if you keep scrolling you will also see a really pretty Mothers Day card Heidi made with an image from our Birds & Botanical Booklet.

  1. I can't wait for your Petite Collage sheet - love those birds. On a personal note, I worked in the Chiropractic field for about 13years. We used a lot of glandulars along with adjustments. I found them to be wonderful. Not only did they work, but I'm sure your homeopathic doc told you they work with your body naturally as opposed to chemicals. Your insurance may not cover them, but to me they are well worth the trade off. Glad to hear you're feeling better!

  5. Wonderful creative samples as always and those mini images are killer! They should be very popular.
I'm pretty sure my friend Denise from Sacramento was going to stop by your booth at the show. Hope she had a chance to. I'm going to check and see what my friend's thyroid meds are. So Sorry your having to deal with the medical junk. Frusssstrating!

  6. I enjoyed seeing the samples, they're gorgeous! And I will be interested to see the comments on your synthroid question, I also am on synthroid (since Jan) and still feel like a slug with the flu . . . :). Life is still not very productive, honestly to drop all metaphors I really do feel like I'm in need of a nap 24/7 and that's not a great way to live life. Let me know if that stuff work for you and what the name of it is. I'd appreciate it.
