Photo Contest Recap (you can submit)

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our 3rd day of celebrations! Today you can enter to win DT Member Michele Kovacks $50.00 Gift Certificate HERE on her Blog and see all of the other fabulous pages in this wonderful Album she created about her home. This album is one of my new favorite’s of Michele’s work. The little details and color arrangement with glimpses into different rooms in her house make it a special keepsake! She used lots of our Clear Art Stamps and paper from our Earthy Paper Pad. The only sad news is we just sold out of Earthy and only have Classic, Pastel and Radiant left.

Michele lives in IL with her husband, son, daughter and little dog and leads a busy life as a grade 5 teacher. She is also a passionate stamper and paper crafter with a popular blog and currently designs samples for us, as well as Noel Mignon, JustRite, and Cutting Cafe'. She is also a past designer for Bitten By the Bug, Sweet & Sassy, Treehouse Stamps and Tuscan Rose. She has been designing samples for us since early 2008 and I just saw 140 samples you can see HERE in her blog gallery! I have a few to share today and it was so hard to pick but I decided to show one of her tutorials, a great Copic colored card and a little layout.

On this tutorial Michele used Texture Magic Paste on these 2 cards she created using our Seaside stamps to form the star fish and seashell and added sand while it was wet. You can click HERE to read her tutorial and see how she also iced one of our cupcake stamps and made a festive border on a birthday card with bead sprinkles.

With so much interest in Copic Markers, I choose this adorable birthday card Michele designed using our Mouse Party Stamp set. She is a certified Copic designer and has mastered the art of using them as well as the air brush they sell. I love the way she merged her colors together with the air brush! You can get the details with a list of the colors HERE

I also really like this mini layout Michele designed with a favorite photo of her daughter Courtney and the way she used the lily of the valley stamps from our Fairyland stamp set. With the photo cropped the joy on her daughters face just jumps out and her colors are soft and don’t overtake. Get the details HERE.

Today we have 2 free printables! I found this lovely poem below in an old book and wanted to post it before May! Left click it with your mouse and when large, right click to save it to a picture file. ** Note: These images have given me grief today as they would not get bigger when clicked on. I deleated and reloaded the BIG files and hopfully it works now. * Try #2 didn't work - so please click HERE to get them in this new post!

Have you ever seen rolled paper beads? I use to own a pin made with them and thought it would be fun to share this instruction sheet from a 1918 book. I will show you a sample tomorrow! Follow the instructions listed above to save this for personal use only please.

DT member Marisa Grosson designed another new card using a different stamp from our Mermaid set and this little mermaid looks so sweet! You can get all the details HERE on Marissa’s blog.

DT Member Flo Teixeira designed this super pretty card using the strawberry image from our Homemade Booklet and you can see the entire card HERE on Flo's blog. She has an English translator on the right side of her blog and lives in the French countryside. I would love to pay her a visit!

Look at this awesome sample DT member Julie Campbell created including with our Material Girl Stamp set (on special for $2.99 or order over $50.00 and you will automatically get a set). Click HERE to get Julie's details and see the cool card she made created with our new Car Classics Set.
