$SALE! New Items! Great Samples! Link to Free Patriotic Sheet Music!

Hi Everyone,

Yippee, all of our double sided Creative Scraps are available now in our online store and shipping to stores -plus - to make room we just started a great $ALE HERE on all of the single sided ones for $2.50 each, so $1.00 off while quantities last!

I have lots of great samples to share today and a link to some FREE Patriotic Sheet Music HERE! Happy Canada Day to all you Canadians!  I sure wish I could find cool Canadian themed vintage as we lack in patriotic images compared to the USA.

Cherry Nelson was a guest designer in June but we were away for the first 2 weeks, so I'm posting more samples and a little bio on Cherry today. I also posted more of Cherry's creations in my last post if you missed it. In my post next week I will introduce you to our July guest designer!

Cherry loves our new double sided Domestic Goddess Scraps and has created so many adorable samples but I love this one with the aprons from the back side strung across her card!

Cherry says she has had a fascination with paper and scissors from an early age and use to cut out little paper villages and still adores paper dolls. About three years ago she started scrapbooking to preserve family memories and in the last year has really enjoyed making cards and altering items. She says paper is her passion and therapeutic to her soul. Quote: “I enjoy the whole process of creating...from found items, finding that perfect paper, to the embellishments. It makes me happy!"

Look at this cute card using the new Domestic Goddess where she used an old fork to hold the little card

This Housework stinks card is cute and I like the way she stitched on her paper flower. You can see more samples HERE on Cherry's blog.

This image Cherry used is from our Summertime Image & Journal Notes Booklet

Now, look at this gorgeous frame that DT leader Vicki Chrisman altered and the way she used our new Sew Nice Creative Scraps! You can see lots of close up photos of showing all the detail HERE on Vicki's Blog!

I have lots of retail stores visiting the blog today as we just sent out our Wholesale Newsletter so I also wanted to re-post this 3D Shawdow Box that DT member Pam Hooten created (using the 3D Shadow Box Portrait Die Vicki Chrisman designed for AccuCut) because it shows how she used both our Sew Nice Creative Scraps and our new Material Girl Stamp set that Vicki used on her oval frame above. I adore they way she cut out the ladies from the back side and layered them.

Look at this fabulous box album DT member Flo from France created! Love the way she stamped the birdie cage from our new Birdies set and added a little bird from our Calendar Scraps. You can see more photos HERE on Flo's blog She has a translator box on the side to find out other suppliers she used.

Look at this yummy card DT Member Melissa Phillips created using the raspberries on the back side of our new double sided Garden Scraps! She used the sweetie stamp from. You can see another wonderful sample using the Garden Scraps HERE on Melissa's blog

Design team member Hege Lønning from Scrapbooking.no has created an adorable baby gift bag and great card using images from our Baby Boy Vintage Postcard Kit. I really like the way she embellished the bag and here is a close up but you can see more photos HERE and the card is a cool idea!

I also wanted to tell you about the challenge over at Splitcoast that Lori Lynn Washburn just started to use red, white & blue (but not patriotic). HERE are the details so you can join in and HERE is the Gallery of samples so far - some great stuff! Look at Lori's sweet card Lori made with our Sweet Kids Stamp set!

I was so busy, I missed posting last weeks challenge that Marcy Talbert did for using any of our products and with a distressing theme. HERE is the Gallery and there are some really great projects like the card Marcy did with our new Art Studio set and others!

Lastly, DT member Julie Campbell worked on a special anniversary album for her parents and I've posted some of her pages previously but I wanted to show you the last page she did as it proves layouts can be simple yet powerful. She used a fav photo of her mom & dad and stamped a journal card using the long flourish from our SL14 Flourishes Clear Art Stamp Set. A little inking, lace and buttons finish it off without over powering the photo. You can see the other pages and a great anniversary card HERE on Julies blog

I've gone overboard with samples and I need to leave to go on a mother daughter day with my mom (we are going to the thrift stores!) and she is pacing, so here are 2 more great samples:  DT member Pam Hooten's tag HERE she made with our Glamour Girls and DT member Michel Kovack created HERE with our Garden Scraps!

Wishing you all joy & creativity!
