CHA Photos, News and More Cool Samples!

Hi Everyone,

CHA was a great show and busier than expected!  DT leader Vicki Chrisman (in the middle) taught our sold out class and she and DT member Michele Kovack (on the left) were a huge help in the booth. Check out the beautiful Bird House Vicki created with our Birds & Blossoms Creative Scraps for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and her CHA photos HERE on her blog.

We cut a mix of Creative Scraps to create a festive pennant banner across our booth.

Here is our little kitchey display with the cute red table I found for FREE on Craigslist!

Here's our little sewing display we set up with an the antique sewing machine that my husband Scott found for $40.00 on Craigslist. I had to leave the big wood cabinet it folds into at home as it was too heavy to ship on a skid. We borrowed the ironing board from our hotel room. Vintage sewing proved to be one of our top selling themes with lots of orders for our Sew Nice Creative Scraps and our Material Girl and Sew Special Clear Art Stamps.

Here is the lovely Vicki doing a make & take with the ladies from Tabby Scrap in Spain.

Amy and her daughter Robin from the Precious Treasures Store in Fremont, NB also worked part time in the booth and they were a big help. Here is Robin making up flyers to hand out to customers.

Here's DT member Michele Kovack teaching one of the make & takes. It was so nice to have Michele help us pack up the booth! They turn off the AC, so it's a hot, sweaty job but she stuck with us till the end. Look at this cute hanging ornament made with our Birds & Blossoms Scraps HERE on Michele's Blog.

Scott also found me this antique trunk to hold a bunch of sample product and it was perfect to stash other items under the top shelf.

One of the best parts of going to CHA is being able to spend time with old friends and meet so many nice new ones! Vicki & I had dinner and lots of laughs with Michelle White (far left), owner of the Paper Tales in San Diego and Debbie Schuh who often teaches at the store.

Okay, now I have a few cool samples to show you like these wood stamp blocks Melisa Waldorf altered using our new Art Studio Clear Art Stamp Set. You can see each one up close HERE on Melisa's blog. She used wood mounts she recycled from her wood stamps.                 I will post as soon as I get an arrival date on our other NEW Stamp sets.

Look at this quick Halloween card DT member Pam Hooten created using part of the inside from our new Halloween double sided Scraps. You can get the details like the googly eyes she used HERE on Pam's Blog.

I love the color combo DT member Melissa Phillips used on this cute card she created using a image from our Sew Nice Creative Scraps.

I never had a chance to show you this wonderful layout DT member Heidi Blankenship created for her grandfathers 80th birthday using our Sexy Little Numbers Clear Art Stamp set. You can get the details HERE on Heidi's blog

Last of all, look at this adorable card DT member Julie Campbell created using one of the images from our Summertime Booklet and a quote from our Seaside Clear Art stamp sets. Details and another card HERE on Julies Blog

It is so nice to be back home. Today was was a provincial holiday here (BC Day) so we spent time spent time at our trailer this weekend and our daughters and a few of their friends came over for a fun 'Bachorlette Show Pizza Party' tonight.

I will be back later later this week to let you know when the new stamps will arrive and more news.

Wising you joy & creativity
Sandy Redburn
