Hi Everyone, Sorry for the delay with this blog post, life got in the way. I do have a fun Giveaway for 3 of the Image & Journal Notes Booklets we just had reprinted and I picked our Happy Easter stamp Set but the winner can pick any items worth $35.00 if they prefer and we will cover the shipping. I will announce a random.org winner next Thurs, April 21/11.
I like the changes and colors in the revised Birds & Botanical and Childhood so much more I put the old ones on sale ($2.00 off) for $4.75 while quantities last. The Christmas Booklet was fine and didn't need many changes.
DT Member Heidi Blakenship designed this stunning birthday card using our Poppy Clear Art Stamp set, with the Dragonfly. The border and the background text stamps are from Artsy Banners and the pretty sentiment is from our Angel Blessings Set. Heidi gives great step by step instructions HERE on her blog
Look at this super pretty 3D Shadow Box that DT Member Julie Campbell created using an AccuCut Portrait Shadow Box ( by designer Vicki Chrisman) and embellishing it with our Altered Fairy and Love Mail Creative Scraps. The pearls and ribbon add extra pretty appeal.
Julie also made this lovely thank you card after winning a great prize package. The bashful lady is from our Girlfriend Creative Scraps and you can get details HERE on Julie's Blog.
I have a couple of very charming cards by Tammy Roberts our Guest Designer last month . I love the sunny warm yellow of this card and how well it goes with the pinks and image from our Little Blessings Creative Scraps.
Tammy used one of the poems from our Love Mail Creative Scraps on this card
Remember last week when I posted a link to the video Beate Johns did on how to paint with bleach? She sent me a link to a new Video Tutorial she made on Stamping With Bleach and she used our Love you Mother Clear Art Stamps.
I have more inspiring and fun cards by our April Guest Designer Sophie La Fontaine! On this adorable card Sophie used the little girl and rose from Thinking of You, She drew the picture frame, window and curtains and stamped the border. The barn is from our Down on the Farm Stamp set, the little house is from the mini stamp set in our Family Postcard Kit.
This card crack me us with the way Sophie stamped the barn again and the sheep reading from our Book Lovers stamp set. She used a Cuttlebug and Divine Swirls for the sky and you can read all the details and full supply list HERE on her Splitcoast Gallery.
Here is a new card Sophie stamped with our Feel Better stamps and colored with Copic Markers. I like the way she has the nurse holding a big flower she stamped with text and how she just painted a long stem.
This card is older but I wanted to show how she used the same Feel Better set and has the nurse holding the medicine tray and drew a bed for the little bear stamp from the set.
I wanted to show you the 'Story of Me Stamp Set' that Sophie used on the next card, so you could see how she transformed the little boy into a little girl.
Recipe Book Girl - Sophie says; "I made this card for my niece and so turn the boy into a girl I drew little hairbows and pigtails, added ruffles to the socks and shorts, cut off the top tuft of hair. Oh, also I colored the shoes like black Mary Janes." Stamp sets used: Child with book from Story of Me, Shelf supports from: Frame It, Foods & "Recipes" from: Kitchen Classics, Wall design from: Floral Art, Girl on book's cover and decorative shelf from mini stamp set in: Kitchen Mail Postcard Kit
Car Lover Boy Sophie says; "I made this card for my nephew Luke who loves cars and I had fun painting flames on the car." Clear Art Stamp sets used: Boy with Book: Story of Me, Large & small car and flag: Car Classics. Word ‘Imagine’ from Story Time Vintage Postcard KitI came back to edit this and ask a couple of questions if you want to include any feedback in your comment. Do you prefer to have stamp sets with several separate pieces you can build with, or do you like layered collage style designs better? Do you ever buy digital stamp downloads or would you be interested?
Note: I will be posting details on our first CD, Creating With Vintage Patterns next week and I'm over the moon excited!
Thank so much for your support!

ReplyDelete-DebbieK
Love the wonderful cards. I like stamps that work together, and although I'm trying I don't like digis as well!!
ReplyDeleteJust amazing cards, very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI love those easter stamps, I have been making quiet a few cards tonight.

ALL these cards are so so sweet- I love having stamp sets with extra bits so I can change for the appropriate greeting - but then again I love ALL your stamp sets anyway even though I only have a couple of them Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSo many card ideas, so little time! I love the vintage theme all over, too.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi - WoW, what a great giveaway!!! I looooved this post; the cards are all so beautiful and adorable. I get so much inspiration from your blog posts. I like to purchase stamp sets that have pieces I can build on and I love digis. I have purchased several. Thanks for a great blog and for this giveaway opportunity. Hugs, Sharon :o)
ReplyDeleteAll the projects are just adorable and so fun to peruse. I love collage-style stamps; I just don't have the patience to build anything! I look at Sophie's cards and amazed at the little scenes she makes. I do use digital stamps and would love to see CS have some, although I will never give up my stamps & ink! :D Thanks for the wonderful chance to win some goodies!
ReplyDeleteLovely images to cheer me on a rainy saturday evening in Philly. Love to win the goodies.
ReplyDeleteThe imagination shown on all of these cards is beyond fantastic! To inifinity for sure. Love it.

Oh my.. all of these cards and projects are so very breathtaking! I'm so amazed at what these ladies can do with stamps and color!! Your questions: I love both! I can't imagine not having the sets, they are wonderful. I do like layered collage style for backgrounds and such. I do not buy anything digital for a number of reasons, but mainly because I prefer traditional crafting & I don't own a color printer or Copics. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAll your products are such yummy goodness! Love the cards (especially the poppies). Thanks for sharing and the wonderful givaway!
ReplyDeleteThanks for such lovely pieces to make such pretty cards and other projects from! MollyK. at mollykathleenbarry@hotmail.com

ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous artwork by your design team! I like stamp sets w/separate pieces. I occasionally purchase digital stamps also. Thanks for an opportunity to win some Crafty Secrets!
ReplyDeleteI love the clear stamp of the mother holding the child up in the air . . . such joy! I'm using it for my daughter's mothers day card
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying the samples from Sophie! I am so anxious to see the CD release. In answer to your question, I guess I like the separate pieces for stamping best.
ReplyDeleteI had never looked closely at the Book Lover's stamp set-it's adorable and you are so right-the sheep is hilarious.I have the Halloween Images and Journal notes-looks like I may have to buy a few more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the gorgeous inspiration! The samples are beautiful and I find myself reaching for my CS stamps all time. Thanks for the chance to win! BTW, our spring weather is slow in coming, unless you count driving wind and rain today. However, the daffodils are out, so that's a great sign!

Chanticlear1(at)gmail(dot)com
Hi Sandy,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful samples and wonderful inspiration from all your creative ladies.
To answer your questions...I LOVE almost everything you come out with from Crafty Secrets, but I like working with images that are already "assembled". ("Seasonal Friends" comes to my mind.) I haven't worked with digital stamps or images, but if it's Crafty Secrets I'm sure I'll want to!
Thank you for sharing!
thanks for the chance to win. These cards are gorgeous ! great job !
ReplyDeleteLove all the cards! So much fun looking at all the new designs! Spring was here earlier this week, but deserted us before the weekend. We're hoping it's back soon!
ReplyDeletewe just had the mother of all spring storms, complete with thunder, lightening and heavy winds and rain. i guess this is the trade-off for those beautiful daffodils last month. i love the cards you put up. so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI just love your vintage stamps and I can't wait to get my hands on some! Your team came up with some beautiful designs and it's so awesome that you're local (I'm from the Fraser Valley). After seeing them used, I really want some of your Creative Scraps, too! As for what type of stamps I like..I think I prefer individual stamps that I can use together and build on...although, the collage type stamps have their uses as well...You guys are doing something right because I just NEED to get ALL of your stamp sets! LOVE THEM! The Vintage feel is just so charming. Keep up the good work! :)
ReplyDeleteThe cards are so beautiful! To answer your questions, I can use elements of one set with others to build my cards, or use elements from a single set. Depends on what I'm doing...
ReplyDeleteIn answer to the digi-stamp...I have no interest in that. I guess it's probably easier (especially on storage), but I prefer stamping the old fashioned way. :)
Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Diana
Fantastic cards. Very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI love everything you show us. You are such a great inspiration. I am now becoming more adventurous with my cards because of you. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful samples as always! We've got spring weather here in NC with tornadoes and crazy weather everywhere!
ReplyDeleteShawn K.
I love my Birds at Home set I just received. I would prefer to have stamp sets with several separate pieces you can build with. I love your blog, it gives me great ideas. I wish I knew how to use digital images, but I'm not there yet. Thanks for all you do!
ReplyDeleteI definitely like stamp sets with separated, so I can pick and choose as I want :)! I love Crafty Secrets, especially the scraps!!! I even bought two of Love Mail because I adored it.. Thank you for giving us a chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing designs! I prefer sets with many elementsthat I can use to create a card/scrap page. I haven't done any digital stuff yet, but maybe when I get a new computer. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! And I have a real "thing" for the Birds and Blossoms note cards. They are splendid.
ReplyDeleteAs to spring weather, we had tornadoes here in NC...too close for comfort, one went right thru our neighborhood! We are fine, and our house is fine, but some of our dear neighbors lost their homes. What a scary day!
love, love, love the samples, stamps, and all your products!
ReplyDeleteThe journal books look lovely. I'm thinking they might be the inspiration I need to start a daily habit. I like individual stamps I can put together to make a project. Thanks for the beautiful things to see.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to turn the little boy imagine in to a girl by adding pigtails!! So cute.
ReplyDeleteI prefer stamp sets with pieces to build my own collage, rather than a pre-made collage. I like a lot of versatility!
Yes...green grass! Thank you for all the inspiration, I could create 24 hours a day.
ReplyDeleteI like both types of stamp sets. They each have their uses. And, I have downloaded some digital art but am not sure how to use it. Could really use some instruction in that. Your design team has done a wonderful job, as always.
ReplyDeleteAbsoultely LOVE the card samples. I am printing a few out so that I can CASE them. I really enjoy receving the emails from Crafty Secrets as it provides an abundance of inspiration.

ReplyDeleteAll the cards are beautiful - they are very inspiring on a wintery snowy SPRING day!! Shirley
ReplyDeleteDT cards are gorgeous, I love anything CS!!! I don't use many digis as they are hard to color with copics because the ink runs sometimes. I like the stamps and booklets, scraps etc.
ReplyDeleteI like several little pieces that I can build on. I have never been really good at layering, it takes practice. I also find the little peices seem to be more versatile to use with other stamps! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI thought this was going to be a quick browse but there are so many wonderful ideas, I could spend all morning with you. I like stamp sets with individual pieces but would love to learn other techniques. Thanks for the inspiration and learning adventure.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards and projects, as always!
ReplyDeleteYes, I buy digital images and would be interested in some of yours. I like building my scenes (though I'm not as elaborate as Sophie) with individual stamps, but do work with collage-y stamps too. I guess I like a mix depending on my mood.
I always love checking to see what's new. It's always so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteoh my, how i would love you win. it is so much fun using the stamps and paper scraps. love, love, the vintage images.
ReplyDeleteI Never buy digital and am not interested in them.
ReplyDeleteI don't really use stamp sets that I have to "put together" my image (although if I Really liked one --I wouldn't let that stop me from buying it---I like having it already done for me.
background stamps are my very fave
Gorgeous cards - I love love love digital downloads - use them all the time. Would be wonderful if you provided some.

ReplyDeleteWarm Wishes all the way from the Uk:)
