Hi Everyone, I'm back from the Heirloom Stamp & Paper Arts Festival in Puyallup, WA and we had a great show thanks to our helpers Ginny, Deana and Renee. Today is our Design Team Challenge and the theme is for men! We don't have a large selection of men theme products but our Car Classics and Favorite Fellas Stamp Sets were big sellers at the show so I'm also posting some great past samples below but I bet there will be some new ones today. We are also working on a Baseball and Barber Shop sets that I'm excited about that will debut in July. Please click on each of our DT Ladies Blog links below to see their wonderful creations! Then scroll down to read about our Blog Giveaway!

You can enter to win a great Blog Giveaway Prize just by leaving a comment here on this blog post. Please tell me if you ever use CD's to print paper or images, or do you do any digi scrapping? The winner will receive both Favorite Fellas and Car Classics PLUS - Our NEW CD, Creating with Vintage Patterns! It's finally done but getting manufactured and it turned out amazing and is packed full! A random.org lucky winner will be announced next week when I post from Nebraska as I'm leaving early tomorrow to go visit DT Leader & good friend Vicki Chrisman. It's a mix of fun & work and I will do a post from Vicki's house on Friday, May 20/11 and show a CD preview and special!
I promised several ladies at the show that I would look for some more fun samples using our Car Classics and Favorite Fellas Clear Art Stamps. Look at this fun card by past DT Member Anna Wight using our Favorite Fellas set.
I love the way Elizabeth (I_love_rubber) cut a hole to peel back her map paper to push her road through.
Dee Fillmore used our Car Classics set to teach a class last year at Scrap Arts in North Vancouver, BC which included this fun 3 D card.
Here's a great layout by DT member Heidi Blankenship and she gives step by step instructions HERE on her blog
Sophie La Fontaine was our Guest DT last month and created several samples using our Car Classics set and this one below was one of my favs. Here's a link to a 'Car Classics' search on Splitcoast and there are 15 other samples from Sophie and various card makers using our set!
This is such a cute booklet DT Member Pam Hooten created for Fathers Day using our Fishing Buds stamp set. She cut it from a 12 x 12" piece of cardstock and scored the folds.
Here's a fun card DT member Linda Duke created with Favorite Fellas when it first came out but I still smile every time I see the shaving cream beard she add with Liquid Applique from Stampin’ Up!
This layout below is by DT member Julie Campbell
We have lost our webmaster Karin to a full time job and our new lady Laura is just learning the ropes and hasn't been able to add all the old samples to our new website. So I did a search on Splitcoast and found over 3o samples for Favorite Fellas!
Darlene Pavlick is hosting a fun Recipe challenge over at Spitcoast Stampers you can read about HERE and see the Gallery HERE. Look at the beautiful card she created using stamps from our SM 31 Rose.
Wishing you joy & creativity

ReplyDeleteI make normal scrap pages/carsd or hibrid pages by printing something from a digi kit. have never used a cd, but sounds good...
ReplyDeletefabulous projects. I can always use manly items to scrap with, not a lot of scrappy products for our men. Thank you for the chance to win some. I love using digi's and yes I print from cd's. TFS
ReplyDeleteLove the guy-themed images! Specially since I'm married to a car guy!
ReplyDeleteI don't use digi images - I should, but I don't trust my printer.
Wonderful projects.

ReplyDeleteLove seeing the samples and can't wait to see the new CD!. Looks great from the sneak peaks I've seen on the DT blogs. Yes I have used digi images and papers and enjoy them because I often make multiple copies of cards etc. Hope you have a great time at Vicki's and thanks for the chance to play : )
ReplyDeleteWhat delightful projects! I always seem to struggle making masculine cards, but these ideas are fabulous! I've just started using some digital images in my cardmaking, but wish I were more "in the know" about how to create digital scrapbook pages. I have never used a CD to print from.
ReplyDeleteI print some images. Not totally into it but like the images and things I have gotten so far. Would love to win this package. Loved all the ideas the girls shared.
ReplyDeleteLove these....I use CD and digit all the time.....love them.....
ReplyDeleteI use a collection of CD's regularly to make mostly cards. The images are vintage in nature.
ReplyDeleteLove these men cards..just great..I'm always on the look out for good men inspiration projects. I have printed off from a CD and have purchased a few digi images. I find that I will need a better printer if I were to use them allot. Thank You for the opportunity to win some great blog goodies..
ReplyDeleteSandy I love your stamp sets for the men in our lives!!Thank you for the chance to win some !! Sorry to say I do not use CD's for printing or do digi scrapping.
ReplyDeleteYour masculine cards are wonderful and I am saving them all for future ideas! Thanks for sharing. I've never used digi....need to learn.
ReplyDeleteI am eager to try digi scrapping. I've been looking forward to the CD's ever since you told me about them in Portland.
ReplyDeleteAny help with male cards is very, very welcome. Great examples from all the design team, thanks for them. I haven't ventured into using cd's yet, but would love to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteLoved the samples, especially the two by Julie Campbell and Dee Fillmore. I have never downloaded from a CD or digi scrapped. I want to learn but am a little intimated.
ReplyDeleteI love these masculine projects - I'm always stumped for something for my husband. I've never used a CD with images or done any digi scrapping. I'll have to try something new.
ReplyDeleteLove printed backgrounds,a CD would be fantastic.Love all the masculine ideas from the DT they are all fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteMust confess ... I do not use any digital kit or work from a CD. Maybe some day. LOVE the boy cards - I struggle with masculine cards so this is a great inspiration for me.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your vintage stamps but think the combination of the cruisin cars and favorite fellas is by far my fave. They are perfect for Father's Day! And I have never tried any digital scrapping or card-making before mostly because I've always been too intimidated to try but would love to at some time in the near future.
ReplyDelete-Celeste
I have dabbled with digital scrapping/cardmaking, but have not got quite far into it! I love the projects here today, so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteAlways love to see the "MENS" items for my card making and these are super cute.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple CD's, I've used a few images, no papers. Never used digi's. Could be my computer is not located in my work area, and I don't have the best printer.
Off to see the great inspiration your DT has.
I'm not into digi scrapping but I do use digi images on my cards. I've been anxiously waiting for your CD! So nice of you to offer it as candy.
ReplyDeletebbourassa at att dot net
I have used a few digi stamps, but not from a cd. I am computer challenged so I would need a cd with very basic directions for a Mac.
ReplyDeleteI use digi images for my cards, but I'm just beginning to scrapbook. I love those old car images! Thanks for the chance to win too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried printing from a cd yet. I'm glad to see the guy stuff, I have 4 Grandsons and one Son so is hard to find male oriented stamps ect. Have fun with Vicki.

ReplyDeleteTFS
Wow, everything the DT creates is so gorgeous! They are so very lucky to play with these CS products :)
ReplyDeleteI have never tried digital in scrapbooking/cardmaking, nor have I used a CD. I always figured I would have to print images onto heavyweight cardstock, which my printer doesn't take. So without an expensive printer that would accept it, I don't think I could use CD's. I'll have to look into it further. Thanks for the giveaway!!
Wonderful projects and a really great giveaway too. I have used cd's before for printing and really enjoyed using them. Have done some digis as well. Cant wait to see your new cds too. Thanks for a chance to win and love crafty secret products.
ReplyDeletei have bought a cd with vintage halloween images. have yet to use it (i have looked at the images at least). i am computer challenged and can't seem to figure out how to size up or down. i need to get my grandkids to show me how it's done! lol. that being said, would love the masculine-themed goodies.
ReplyDeleteGreat DT challenge this month, Sandy! I always look forward to them. I am just starting to use images from CD's in my crafting. In fact, I made a wedding card using the damask paper sample you gave us a while ago as an intro to the CD. Excited to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteI haven't used any CD's for printing but I have downloaded templates and images and printed them directly onto cardstock. I would love to jump into some other areas.
ReplyDeletecarol b
I do have a CD of images that I have used - very handy!
ReplyDeleteThere were some great masculing projects on this hop. I have never used a cd to print images/paper. I have never did any digi scrapping. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI have not gone digi. I love working with the paper and embellies to create texture and dimension. However, I do use printed images sometimes and I like to paper piece too. So digi isn't totally out of the picture (or page).
ReplyDeleteI do some digi scrapping and print paper for cards occasionally too! I love the idea of being able to print out vintage products anytime I need them versus storing extra product in my little house - though some physical product is so necessary for JOY and I have plenty!!! Can't wait to see the cd!

ReplyDeleteI love these man sets ;) and look forward to the barber stamps. I would love to learn digi!
ReplyDeleteWonderful projects. I do not make scrapbook pages but create cards that the stamp sets would be perfect for. One can never have too many 'manly' stamps! I do use digital pattern paper so I would think having it on a CD would be great too.
ReplyDeleteI do use printing images when doing paper crafting - sometimes these are soooo much easier than stamping. It's nice that someone is FINALLY doing some guy stuff!
ReplyDeleteAlso love the music selections on some of the blogs!
