I have a wonderful Vintage Summer Lady Printable for you today and this year I decided to make it a B&W image that I thought would be fun to color. Some of you may know I'm on vacation at our friends cabin at Christina Lake and I almost had the image ready but I didn't like the ladies mouth so got our graphics designer and magician Cindy van Koll to create her a new mouth. Left click the image to make it as large as possible (she gets big) and right click it to save to a picture folder.
I changed several parts including covering up her exposed boob and I love the way she turned out with all the decorative elements you can color. I would really like to see any samples that people do color! Please share this link but keep in mind our free printables are for personal use only. Hey - color and enter her in our August Linky Party!
Plus you have to check out the great samples people have posted!
I also have some samples to share today like this cute 3D pixie house card by DT member Michele Kovack that she created with our Pixie stamp set
You have to check out the cute witchy metal dress form DT Leader Chrisman altered using paper from our Creating With Vintage CD's and the shoe template from CD #2. Vicki also used our Halloween Cuts on the pendant. See Vicki's Halloween coolers if you missed them
DT member Julie Campbell is back in town and she also dressed up some cute spooky bottles and cards using our new Halloween stamps.
I like the clever way Darlene Pavlick created this card using the grocery list image from our Homemade Image & Journal Notes Booklet to mat the carrots she stamped (not our stamp set) and cut away the page to fit her cool stamped paper.
Marie-alice from Splitcoast also sent me this pretty card she stamped using our Birdies STamp Set and swirls from our Flourish set. I like how she stamped the birdie outside his cage and hung it off the sirl pattern on her paper.
Lastly I wanted to show you this magical fairy card by Sophie La Fontaine she made with our Fairy Wishes Stamps and colored with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. We have 1 set left if you call our office you can order them directly for $99.95 and pick any small stamp set plus get free S&H. You can read about them on my post here.
Don't forget you still have until this Sunday to enter our August Linky Party and the random.org winner will receive a Crafty Secrets Gift Certificate
Until next time,
Wishing you joy & creativity

Thanks again.

Thank you for the gorgeous image! And Cindy did an Outstanding job with her alterations!! I prefer the B&W so I can easily change the colors to suit my card or project.
ReplyDeleteI Love all the new Halloween stamps, cards & projects you've been posting!! And Michele's 3D Pixie card is just too cute!!
Wow...thanks, Sandy! That is a gorgeous image. And I appreciate that you covered up her boobs! LOL
ReplyDeleteI like both black and white and color images...it just depends on what I'm making. Sometimes, b&w is just the ticket, as in this image. But I love the old, vintage shades of most images.
Your DT is amazing! Love those shoes!!!!!
What a gorgeous image to share with us, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI prefer black and white :0) but haven't really used digi images very much. (I can see if you use them often having pre-printables could be useful.)

ReplyDeleteWow, this image is simply stunning. Thank you so much. Also, more wonderful DT creations. Those shoes are absolutely fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you are still interested in our opinions so long after the question was asked, I love having the option of both. It is fun to colour but pre-coloured ones are great when you are rushed for time. They can also look more elegant too.
