I'm back with over 25 vintage calendar ideas and samples created with our 2 Free Printable Calendars (posted yesterday) and vintage image products to inspire you! You can see my post yesterday with some of my antique calendars and both of our 2013 Calendars and a December month title. Scroll to end to see NEW Items added to our Store!
We all need Calendars and many people also use a Day Timer or Planner to keep track of stuff. The really nice ones are expensive so why not make your own and decorate it with images, photos and colors you like. Mini calendars are perfect to sit on a desk or telephone table. Past DT Member Marissa Grosson created this holiday planner using a inside piece of our Christmas Creative Scraps to glue on our Wood Clipboard Album Covers (on sale $1.95).
There are also similar papers on our Vintage Christmas Paper Download for $7.95
Our Vintage Christmas and the Retro Christmas Downloads are a hit! We got obsessed and couldn't stop making more files so I'm going to be sending you some extra new files if you ordered the either the Papers or Images & Ephemera in the Retro Papers or Vintage Christmas Sets. Speaking of calendars - below are 2 printable 8.5 x 11" pages on the Vintage Christmas Images & Ephemera Download. There is also a red advent number sheet on Retro Christmas.
You can't do digital orders in our Shopatron Store but you can order either of the Christmas CD's from our Shopatron, Etsy and our Crafty Vintage Girl Store (I just need to come back and add the links to Etsy & Shopatron Stores ). They are on Special for $15.95 as they won't have the fancy label or inside cover printed but they are each crammed full of fabulous papers, images and ephemera with some samples for ideas!
The weekly calendar page below is included on our CD 3, Creating With Vintage Typography
This is a planner by DT Leader Vicki Chrisman decorated with paper and images from CD 2, Creating With Vintage Illustrations.
I collect these old weekly calendars for the beautiful hand lettered quotes and wanted to show you this one from 1915 which is filled with fun to read little penciled notes. She must have been a seamstress and wrote what she charged for alterations.
Past DT Member Pam Hooten used a 3D Shadow Box Frame from the Die Vicki Chrisman designed for AccuCut to hold our printable calendar. You could add photos to the sides and it would make a great gift.
Past DT Member Jan Hennings designed this cute but functional Envelope Coupon Calendar using printable papers from our CD #1 Creating With Vintage Patterns and our free calendar download sheet.
Past DT Member Mary Hamer created this cool desk planner using our Seasonal Scraps. The calendar shown below is the style of our other printable 2013 calendar
Calendar Fans use to be a popular advertising incentive that started in the 1800's and a few years ago Traci from AccuCut made this cute fan calendar using their Fan Die with images from our Seasonal Booklet.
Ok, click the sample below to see it large as Past DT member Linda Duke created these awesome calendar pages back in 2008 using a variety of products. It's great that vintage doesn't go out of style. She used our Kitchen Classics Stamps which are now a Download with 30 stamps and only $9.95
Pam Hooten used our Little Girls Chipboard outfit to attach her calendar
DT Leader Vicki Chrisman used the Calendar Scraps to create this fun Photo Calendar Album. They are the ones on sale for $1.50 and match one of our free printable calendars
Here a old project sheet using a plastic CD case, images from our Seasonal Image Booklet and our printable calendar. I just updated the info as the CD cases that flip back easel style are harder to find but you can add some magnetic tape and stick it on your fridge and just change out the card each month.
The following are a bunch of fun cards designed with the mini calendars. The months work great for seasonal cards and for events like birthdays. Many are older samples but are fun to have altogether here in 1 post. Linda Duke made this New Years card with image from Seasonal Booklet.
Past DT Member Melissa Phillips used the Creative Scraps for her New Years card
Easter card by Heidi Blakenship
Fun Halloween card by Pam Hooten using Seasonal Scraps and Halloween Stamps
This is a montly planner page on our Halloween CD #4
Christmas card by Melissa Phillips. The little girls are off our
Birthday card by Pam Hooten using our Girlfriend Creative Scraps on sale $2.50
I love this idea Pam Hooten had to cut the months from the calendar and staple them together to make a 'check you girls' once a month. She used the image of the French ladies in our Girlfriends Image Booklet with them looking down their tops. She used our Support the Girls Stamp Set and a Square piece of coaster board - which we have on Special for .5o cents each!
This is probably the longest post I've ever done! I want to have this Blog moved to our website and was told we may loose some older posts in the transfer so at least there are a bunch updated here now. You can get our 2 Printable Calendars from my post yesterday
