Our New Kitchen Kits and Digital Stamp Sets were finally uploaded to our store and to celebrate I'm doing 2 Giveaways you can enter to win either the Retro Kitchen Kit Download and Kitchen Queen Digital Stamps, or our Kitchen Memories Kit and Vintage Kitchen Digital Stamp Set. Just leave a comment here on this blog post and tell me which you like best? The 2 winners will be announced next Friday, Nov 7/14 but do come to our Christmas Linky Party this Monday Nov 3/14.
Look at this cute pot holder card that DT Member Diane Hoover made stitching on the cherry paper from our Retro Kitchen Kit and the images she used are from our Kitchen Time Cuts which are so perfect for this Kit I had to include them. The apron is from our Kitchen Classic Digital Stamp Set which is also included on the bonus CD in our Kitchen Sale Blowout Pack for $19.95 plus $4.95 shipping.
The Retro Kitchen Kit is full of fun retro style kitchen papers and all sorts of fabulous kitchy images perfect for creating recipe albums, cute greeting cards, scrapbook pages and kitchen decor. Includes 34 designer papers, 4 recipe cards, 3 tab dividers, recipe book cover, a sheet of blank labels, a sheet of color kitchen labels, our Kitchen Time Cuts sheet, plus a folder with 46 wonderful retro images saved as PNG files!
There are also 46 separate PNG files with the designs all cut out.
I adore the cheerful colors and cute images in this kit.
Here's our Kitchen Queen Digital Stamp Set packed full of 61 fun retro black and white cooking images and framed sentiments perfect for creating cards, decorating recipes books, scrapbook pages and all sorts of 'kitchey' projects. The digital stamps are high quality 300 dpi/ppi PNG files which can be used just like a jpg image but if you have a tiny bit of digital knowledge you can color, re-size, flip and layer the designs
There are some really cool large size images on these sets like the plate and cutlery, appliances, and utensils! We never could have made clear stamps as large as some of these images that would have stamped properly or been economical - but these are all re-sizeable so you can print a mini border of cutlery or large wall art for your kitchen!
I have to admit, I love the Retro stuff but I think my heart has to side with the older images in this Kitchen Memories Kit. I love the way the colors turned out, all warm and homey and I really like the papers with the text and hand written recipes. The recipes were written by Vicki Chrisman's mom Evelyn who has sadly passed now but Vicki and her sisters still regularly use their mom's recipes. I love the idea that people will use these kits to create recipe albums, food tags, layouts and kitchen crafts that celebrate cooking, sharing food, recipes and kitchen memories!
DT Leader Kathy Clement created this pretty kitchen card using different papers and ephemera images from the Kitchen Memories Kit. The lady sitting is a digital stamp from the Vintage Kitchen Stamp Set which goes great with this kit. The greeting is from our Card Sentiments set. If you click on the sample you can see how she printed one of the faux 'embossed' doily designs to make the teabag holder pocket inside the card and yes- the doilies really do look embossed!
There are 49 fabulous PNG files included in the kit and a PNG can be printed just like a jpg image and it will have white around it - but the images are actually cut out so you can layer them over each other and onto colored paper. We have a bunch of digital tutorials on Pintrest, many by our digital expert DT Member Sheila Rumney.
The vegetables are big and the colors are beautiful!
Here's our Vintage Kitchen Digital Stamp Set which has 65 really cool detailed designs with all sorts of food items and old kitchen ephemera. I've been trying to master Photoshop and I actually created a bunch of the lettering on this stamp set set including all these below, except for the canisters. Plus some of the lettering on the old bottles and cans wasn't great so I had fun re-doing all or parts of the angel spice, butter, canned peaches, pasta sauce, vegetable cookbook, grocery sign and weigh scale. I love old packaging!
Look at the old fridges, stoves, hoosier cupboard and utensils!
Reminder - Our Christmas Linky Party is this Monday Nov 3/14 and I'm going to have a great free gift for all the participants, plus 1 random.org winner will receive a $40.00 gift card (it just can't be used on our Sale Packs that are 70% off already).
Be sure to leave a comment to be entered into the draw and 2 lucky random.org winners will be announced next Friday.
Wishing you joy and creativity
Sandy Redburn

I love them both, but I think for me and what I need for my scrapbooks I'm making for my Mom and her sisters I would say the Vintage set. I recognize so many of the things in the set from their old stories.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really tough call, but I am leaning toward the Retro Kitchen kit and Kitchen Queen stamp set. Another great release, Sandy!
ReplyDeletewow, it's almost impossible to choose one over the other because I need them both! guess I would get the Kitchen Memories kit with Vintage Kitchen digi stamps first though. what fab papers and images!
ReplyDeleteIt's a toss-up but i think the vintage set has a slight edge for me
ReplyDeleteAlways beautiful and so hard to choose! Vintage keeps making me go back and look at it so Vintage it is! :)
ReplyDeleteHow perfect to use in a cookbook scrapbook!!
ReplyDeleteWell how can I choose! I love, love, love all these new sets, Sandy! So happy and excited to receive the Kitchen Queen and Retro Kitchen sets for participating in the last challenge! For anyone who doesn't have these sets - you need them! So head to the shop right away! So many wonderful elements - I can't say enough about them!
ReplyDeleteSandy, thank you for putting together such amazing sets - they are fabulous! These are sure to be favourites with everyone!
WOW, I love love love all the sets. But I would have to say out of all the sets that my favorite is Vintage Kitchen Digital Stamp Set.Great job on all the sets. Thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteAll of the sets are wonderful, but the retro is my favorite. While I was growing up my mom had dishtowels embroidered with the faces on the fruits, so seeing them brought back wonderful memories--and the cute little bee(even though, I hate bees)made the decision for my favorite easy.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these sets are gorgeous, they remind me of both my Mom and Grandma, but I would have to pick the Retro Kitchen Kit. This would be beautiful to use making a mini album recipe book with all of my mom and grandma's recipes!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Vintage set the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win!
I like both sets very much, but if I have to pick one, I will go with the Retro Kitchen set. I have some retro kitchen items in my kitchen now and they remind me of my Mom's kitchen when I was a little girl.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I still use some of our (late) mom's and grandmother's recipes. One of these days we're going to do a mini album to encompass all the delicious recipes. Winning sure would help. I love both but I'm going to go with VINTAGE. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved your retro and vintage kitchen goodies....both of these kits are just wonderful! I think the retro one wins out though...reminds me of my Mom....always a good memory.

Maybe I should make one for my son too so I can use all this vintage goodness!

wow- they are both great sets and I'm torn between them both...probably go with Vintage is pressed! Thx for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteSeeing all the retro kitchen images takes me back to a house I lived in back in the 1960's. It's not easy to find retro kitchens anywhere anymore, so looking at these images really takes me back!
ReplyDeleteI really like both sets, but my favorite is the Kitchen Memories/Vintage Kitchen set. All great sets...would match my vintage kitchen decor too!
ReplyDeleteI love them both, but the retro is something that I would love to create with
ReplyDeleteI looked over all the pictures and it is so difficult to decide. If I had my choice, I would pick them all but the retro kitchen takes me back to my childhood memories of my aunt's 1930's stove, green with the oven on the side the same height as the burners. The kitchens that were displayed on old Lassie shows, the Waltons, Donna Reed Show, Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver and in the magazines of the day
ReplyDeletehearken back to when life was truly simpler for me as a child.
Absolutely a difficult choice, but I have to go with the vintage kitchen stamp set. This is a new site for me and I love it.
