I have been so busy as we are listing our house today for sale and we've been here since we built it over 20 years ago, plus the business office is in my home as well - so I've had a crazy amount of decluttering to do! I still have to take photos I promised of some yellow stamp sets I will post this week and I have more items to add. Here's our house all ready for a buyer. Do you think the heart wreath looks too country and should I take it off?
Okay, I have a really fun project and tutorial to share by DT Member Diane Hover and you may have seen the 'Faux Leather Suitcase Tutorial' she recently did for our July Linky Party but now she used the same idea to create this gorgeous Mermaid tail and card with our Mermaid Digital Stamp Set
Also, look at this fun Bon Voyage card by DT Member Darlene Pavlick created with a couple of images from our Travel Creative Scraps. Darlene also has links to all the other supplies she used like the umbrella and beach die cuts. I like how Dar tore some blue 'water' paper and added all the layers.

Hi, Sandy! Yes, I was having problems searching for items in the store. I would type in the name of the set and would get a "not found" response. So something is up. Love the new party cats images. I hope to find them in the DT dropbox! Thanks...and your house looks soooo pretty! I like the wreath, but I am a country girl at heart. Your landscaping is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI would remove the wreath because houses need to be "staged." and someone who doesn't appreciate country might on first impression be "put off" by it. please don't think that i mean to come off as negative.
ReplyDeleteI would also remove the wreath from the entrance to your home. To me, it has nothing to do with a country vibe, but rather that it adds to the cluttered, too many places to look idea. In other words, too distracting from the house and the perfecto landscaping.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home Sandy, it has to be hard to sell I am sure. I love the wreath, it makes it feel so homey....and seems a nice balance to the landscaping!!
