Hello, Friends!
I am having such a great morning! We've been socked in with grey skies and torrential downpours for the past week. At first, it was kind of cozy, being tucked in the studio, working while the rain fell. Then, after a couple of days, it got a little aggravating, getting soaking wet to check the mail, go buy groceries, take out the trash. Just as I was ready to crawl into bed and hibernate, the sun decided to break through! Hooray for sunshine! It's amazing how much more energy I have today because Mr. Sun is shining brightly, the butterflies have resumed their fluttering ballet and even the birds are rejoicing. It's a perfect day to share some fresh design team inspiration with you!
Did you see the fabulous masculine card DT member Darlene Pavlick created with papers from our Vintage Illustrations CD and our Car Classics Digital Art Stamps? I love the monochromatic color scheme and the amazing card design. It's perfect for all the manly men in your life. She shares info on how she put this card together in her blog post.
In spite of the rain, I found sunshine in this Butterfly Chase Card . It's a basic gatefold card that uses a medallion front for a fancy finish. The focal image is from the Vintage Illustrations CD and that beautiful pink damask is from the Vintage Patterns CD.
Even though she's knee-deep in school preparations, DT member Michele Kovack found time to put together this flirty, feminine card using a digital image from our Love and Support Digital Art Stamps. I am totally in love with her bow/flower combination and the soft coloring she uses.
Sheila Rumney always does such a great job of capturing life's special moments in her Photoshop Friday posts, and I love this sweet digital layout she shared using our Digital Garden papers. If you are wanting to learn how to use digital design, her tutorials are a fabulous source.
I know I shared a sample from DT member Diane Hover yesterday, but I simply must share the darling pincushions she made using our Printable Button Cards. Wouldn't these make amazing gifts? Although I'm not sure I could bear to part with them!
Elizabeth Lincoln has the best sense of humor! I had to chuckle this morning when I saw this whimsical card made with the frog in our Kewpies Digital Art Stamps. It just leaps off the page! I love the red eyes and the little fella that's playing the drums in the tall grass!
OK! These projects are as sunny as our weather today! I just love them all!
I also want to remind you to join in the fun at our August Linky Party! We have some great entries this time! Linky Party Attendee Cammie M was so inspired by Michele Kovack's design that she worked up a project of her own using our Cutie Cats Digital Art Stamps to make this adorable Back to School easel.
I hope you will join in the fun! Everyone receives a $6 store credit just for playing along, and one lucky winner is randomly selected to receive a $50 shopping spree! We even included a FREE DOWNLOAD so that everyone can play along. You can't beat that! Be sure to link up before midnight Pacific time, Sunday August 17th. The big winner will be announced here on Tuesday, August 19th.
Finally, don't miss out on the opportunity to cash in on our big Summer Blowout SALE. Each Priority Mailer contains more than $77 worth of Crafty Secrets Goodies for just $19.95 plus $4.95 S&H! That's an incredible deal, and a chance to purchase a lot of crafting goodness. Sandy needs to empty out her US warehouse, and we reap the benefits!
You may purchase as many of these creative kits as you like, but once they are gone, they are gone...so don't miss out!
Now I'm going to go get busy in my studio and get some work done. August is our big family birthday month, and I haven't made a single card, so I'd better get busy! Thanks for stopping by. On behalf of Sandy Redburn...
Wow, love all the beautiful inspiration in these pieces! ~Diane
