See More CHA Sneak Peeks, 4 Prize Winners and Great Samples!

Hi Everyone,

The bags are packed and I fly to Chicago Sunday to set up for the CHA Show! DT ladies Vicki Chrisman & Michele Kovack are coming to help as well as Amy from Precious Treasure in Nebraska. We will have make & takes and our class is sold out. Yippee!  Now I have some great new Clear Art Stamp Sets and double sided Creative Scraps to show you! Every design turned out better than I could have imagined!

SL-34 PHOTO STUDIO turned out so great with 24 separate stamps!  This set ties in with our Art Studio set which is available already. Sug. retail $24.99

These are our 4 new Medium size (4 x 6") stamp sets and Cindy (our fantastic graphic designer) is still fine tuning the details on these before sending them off next week. She will work her magic on areas like the leaf on the Rose set with the lady bug so it stamps great.

SM -31 Rose  and  SM-32 Poppy

I love the big words, bugs and little sentiment on each of these sets which you can mix and match between each set. They will be so fun to color or simply stamp.  Sug. retail $14.99
SM-33 Dahlia  and  SM-34 Sunflower

Last of all is a small stamp SS-17 Thinking of You (3 x 4") with 4 separate stamps. I adore the cute little Dolly Dingle girl and her kitty. I have several more of these (boys, girls & couples) so tell me if you like them and we can release more sets. Sug.  Retail $7.50.
We will be shipping CHA orders to stores next month, so you can ask you fav store to order anything you like. I will post as soon as the new stamps sets are available in our Shopatron Store in August. You can see our other NEW CHA Stamps HERE if you missed my last post.

Now I have our 3 double sided Creative Scraps and the colors turned out perfect! These will be available early next week. We also have these sets available in the original single sided and on sale while quantities last in both retail and wholesale pricing. Double sided $3.50 Retail. Single sided are $2.50!

Now I have the winners to announce!  First for the photos everyone was so nice to email, I'm sorry if I haven't answered you back, I 've just been swamped with getting our new flyers printed and all the show stuff. The winning photo goes to Julie Campbell for her photo of her aunt with the enormous fish. I will contact more people about using some of the other photos on future projects - like our Little Boy and Little Girl Creative Scraps after I get back from the show.

Here are the 3 random winners that random.org picked to win a large stamp set. Congratulations to # 5, Knerten from Norway and to  #30  Susan Parnell and #163 Pam S.
Isabelle Norris is our guest designer this month and she has created so many wonderful samples. Here's a layout she did using stamps from our Garden Girls Stamp set ( rt corner) and some of the flourish stamps from our Cherubs set. with Websters paper. You can get more details HERE on Isabelle's Blog

Look at this cute card Cherry Nelson (our June guest designer) created with our new double sided Halloween Scraps!

I also wanted to show you this really cute recipe album that Melisa Waldorf made with our new double sided Domestic Goddess Scraps. You can see a bunch more great samples HERE on Melisa's Blog if you keep scrolling down.

Lastly, I wanted to tell you about a new challenge that Pammy Jo is hosting over at SplitcoastStampers.com that you can enter any project you create using our products with a 'pink & black' theme. HERE is the LINK to get all the details & see the Gallery of great samples people have submitted so far.

Okay, that's all for now but I hope to do a post during the CHA Show and Vicki is going to post videos on our Facebook page that I will link to.  I want to thank each one of you for your fantastic support and encouraging comments. You have no idea how much it means to us to know that you appreciate the love and care we pour into each and every one of our products. Hi Everyone,

I have lots to share today with our DT Challenge, a sneak peek at 3 of our large Clear Art Stamp Sets debuting at CHA, a vintage photo contest and some great samples! Click on each of the links below to also see:

Heidi Blankenship (will post Tues, July 20)

Today I have a CHA Show Sneak Peek of 3 of our NEW Large Clear Art Stamp Sets that will debut next week at the show - PLUS - you can leave a comment on this post and tell us what set you like best and we will do 3 random draws this Friday when I will be back with more NEW product to show you! These are so new we don't even have the proofs yet, so if you win be patient and wait 10 - 14 days.

This large set is SL3 Artsy Banners and the sheet is 6 x 8" with 21 separate stamps! The 2 decorative border designs across the top can be stamped alone or across the pennant or scallop banner stamps which are in a large and small size. The letters from our Artsy Alphabet set fit in the large pennants (1.25" H). We have wanted a set with text, script and sheet music so you can create backgrounds but this set also allows you to create custom banners and borders by stamping the pennant or scallop over text and then cutting them out. Our graphic designer, Cindy van Koll, did an amazing job fitting in lots of extra designs and mail art you can layer over the backgrounds to change and alter them. The little cherub, crown, bird and fleur de lis also fit in the postage stamp.

SL32 Halloween Treats is a large 6 x 8" sheet with 21 separate stamps! A mix of adorable fun to color witches and wacky pumpkin people mixed with a couple of 'grown up graphics' which you can pair up with the 8 different sentiments! There is a tree (4.25" H) for the owl and crow and then you can add the moon, candy, star border, characters and different words for multiple designs. The little girl and boy are also featured on our new Halloween Scraps and 'The Witching Hour' lettering is so cool I asked Cindy turn it into a stamp. I also love the cute kitty on the bottom and witch in high heels!

SL33 Bathing Beauties is large 6 x 8" sheet with 22 separate stamps! There are 4 larger size bathing beauty stamps and the one standing is 3.25" plus the framed couple is 2.5 x 2". The circle frame is almost 1.75". There are 10 fun sentiments and both Hot Stuff and Happy Birthday are all separate words for flexibility. 'Life's a Beach' and 'Dive into Fun' fit inside both frames. The border of 6 bathing beauties on the bottom is 2.5" long and covers a century of styles. I adore all these ladies and think they will look fantastic plain and colored.

Vintage Photo Contest Details:  Okay, I'm looking for a couple more great vintage photos and thought I would ask for help and run a contest. I don't need to keep them, I just need a high resolution scan or copy if yours is picked to be featured on our new Vintage Photos Creative Scraps.  The winning choices will receive a $30.00 gift certificate and free S&H, plus 5 copies of the new Vintage Photo Scraps!  Please email your entries to sandy@craftysecrets.com The deadline is 5:00 PM this Wednesday, July 22/10 and winner(s) will be announced Friday. Send interesting, adorable or funny vintage photos of people!

New Samples and Invite to CHA Sneak Peek!

Hi Everyone,

This post will be brief on words as we are at a cabin and I have limited computer here but I wanted to share some great new samples. I also want to invite you to our DT Design Challenge this Mon, July 17 when I will also be posting a CHA Sneak Peek and a Giveaway!

Isabelle Norris is our guest designer this month and she has created more wonderful samples! If you missed my last post with samples by Isabelle you can see it HERE. Today I have a sweet little bird house she altered with our Fairyland Clear Art Stamp Set.

She also created a matching keepsake box that turned out so pretty using the same Fairyland stamp set.  Isabelle has lots more detailed photos and details HERE on her blog as well as more great samples I haven't shown.

This is one of my favorite samples she created using various stamps from our Garden Girls Stamp set and alpha letters from our Artsy Alphabet to spell NOTES. Beautiful colors and arrangement! She also did a similar one in soft peach tones that is lovely.

Her wedding layout is stunning using stamps from our Cherish Stamp set. I love the way she used the Love, CHERISH and the branch stamps. Fairly simple and yet so elegant. The flowers finish it off perfectly.

Look at this beautiful card that Cath (talented friend of DT member Flo) created using our Bonjour Merci Stamp set. You can see a couple of other cards HERE on Cath’s Blog.  Just scroll down to July 10.  I love her idea to use the rolled paper with the Bonjour banner!

You can also see 4 wonderful cards DT leader Vicki Chrisman designed HERE on her blog with our new Birdies stamp set.  All of a sudden I'm unable to copy and paste photos but go have a peek - they are cute and easy!''

Darlene Pavlick is hosting this weeks challenge at Splitcoast to use  any of our products to create something 'with wings 'and you can see there are some great samples people have started posting already HERE in the Gallery.  Come join in the fun but be sure to the code CSSC128  so your sample posts in the gallery.

That's all for now but please come back this Monday, July 17 to check out our Design Team Challenge, see my CHA Sneak Peek and enter our GREAT GIVEAWAY!

Wishing you joy & creativity

Inspiring Samples by July DT Guest Isabelle Norris and Others!

Hello Everyone,

I posted this yesterday but needed links added, so it's sending to all of you on the subscriber list today.

I have some fantastic samples to show you today! Isabelle Norris is our guest designer this month and she has created some fabulous projects with matching ensemble and color pallets to inspire you!   We are busy getting ready for the CHA Show later this month. Our class that DT Leader Vicki Chrisman is teaching has sold out but we will have a make & take table for retailers (booth 1407) and DT member Michele Kovack is coming to help us!  I'm so excited about some of our NEW CHA releases I will be able to share.

I'm French, married to a British and we have 3 children. I lived in the UK for 13 years and we moved to Canada in December 2008. I LOVE it here, don't want to go back!  Stamps and inks are my true passion. I started stamping and scrapbooking about 7 years ago. I became addicted to inks and wrote a book about Distress inks (in French) in 2007: Les Encres, Carterie et Scrapbooking and I've have been teaching workshops in Europe and here in Canada for the last 4 1/2 years.  "I love altering and am now using all sorts of mediums in
inks, paints & pastes. I also love working with canvas, metal, vintage stamps and images. Although I prefer the vintagy/shabby look, I like trying all sorts of styles as there is always a technique to discover or something new to try on the way".

Texture frame by Isabelle using our Bird Notes Clear Art Stamp set, paint, paste & gel mediums. Get details HERE

Look at these cute matching projects Isabelle created using a mix of our Fishing Buds Stamp Set and the Seaside stamps and damask design is from our Cupcake Party stamp set. You can see more details HERE on Isabelle's blog

Here, she used our Kewpies Clear Art Stamps and the Seaside and damask designs are from our Cupcake Party set as well. I love the way she changed colors and brought it all together in a set

On this mini layout Isabelle did with her kids she also used our Kewpies Clear Art Stamp set to embellish her page with a whimsical theme. I will have more samples by Isabelle in my next post.

Talking about kewpies, I spotted this adorable card on Michele Kovacks blog using an image from our Homemade Journal Notes Booklet. It turned out so cheery! Details HERE on Michele's Blog

Look at these pretty charms DT Leader Vicki Chrisman did using the new charms that Fancy Pants has with our new double sided Birds & Blossoms Scraps! Vicki has details HERE on her blog

DT  member Marisa Grosson altered a simple shipping tag using our Art Studio Clear Art Stamp set and inks and got great color blending. You can get the details HERE on Marisa's blog

Love this cute card DT member Julie Campbell created using an image from our Summertime Booklet! Details HERE on Julies blog  and another sample

More samples from the DT ladies at scrapping.no and I adore this postcard Wenche Jensen created using an image from our Family Postcard set. See more samples HERE!

Here is another image from the Best Buds Vintage Postcard Kit.  She cut the girl image out, added wings and mounted her to one of the 6 large chipboard backs in the kit.

I love the stamped back of this postcard!

You can see more samples HERE on the scrapping.no site by Yasmin Tölche and Lina Nilsestuen.
The image of the little girl is from our Summertime Booklet

Jan Hennings is hosting the challenge this week over at Splitcoast to use any of our products to create a recipe card or layout. The gallery was just started HERE - so you can still join in the fun!

That's all until next time. We are heading out to watch a friends daughter, Colleen Rennison preform tonight and she is one of our favorite singers. One day we believe she will be a superstar!

Wishing you joy & creativity

$SALE! New Items! Great Samples! Link to Free Patriotic Sheet Music!

Hi Everyone,

Yippee, all of our double sided Creative Scraps are available now in our online store and shipping to stores -plus - to make room we just started a great $ALE HERE on all of the single sided ones for $2.50 each, so $1.00 off while quantities last!

I have lots of great samples to share today and a link to some FREE Patriotic Sheet Music HERE! Happy Canada Day to all you Canadians!  I sure wish I could find cool Canadian themed vintage as we lack in patriotic images compared to the USA.

Cherry Nelson was a guest designer in June but we were away for the first 2 weeks, so I'm posting more samples and a little bio on Cherry today. I also posted more of Cherry's creations in my last post if you missed it. In my post next week I will introduce you to our July guest designer!

Cherry loves our new double sided Domestic Goddess Scraps and has created so many adorable samples but I love this one with the aprons from the back side strung across her card!

Cherry says she has had a fascination with paper and scissors from an early age and use to cut out little paper villages and still adores paper dolls. About three years ago she started scrapbooking to preserve family memories and in the last year has really enjoyed making cards and altering items. She says paper is her passion and therapeutic to her soul. Quote: “I enjoy the whole process of creating...from found items, finding that perfect paper, to the embellishments. It makes me happy!"

Look at this cute card using the new Domestic Goddess where she used an old fork to hold the little card

This Housework stinks card is cute and I like the way she stitched on her paper flower. You can see more samples HERE on Cherry's blog.

This image Cherry used is from our Summertime Image & Journal Notes Booklet

Now, look at this gorgeous frame that DT leader Vicki Chrisman altered and the way she used our new Sew Nice Creative Scraps! You can see lots of close up photos of showing all the detail HERE on Vicki's Blog!

I have lots of retail stores visiting the blog today as we just sent out our Wholesale Newsletter so I also wanted to re-post this 3D Shawdow Box that DT member Pam Hooten created (using the 3D Shadow Box Portrait Die Vicki Chrisman designed for AccuCut) because it shows how she used both our Sew Nice Creative Scraps and our new Material Girl Stamp set that Vicki used on her oval frame above. I adore they way she cut out the ladies from the back side and layered them.

Look at this fabulous box album DT member Flo from France created! Love the way she stamped the birdie cage from our new Birdies set and added a little bird from our Calendar Scraps. You can see more photos HERE on Flo's blog She has a translator box on the side to find out other suppliers she used.

Look at this yummy card DT Member Melissa Phillips created using the raspberries on the back side of our new double sided Garden Scraps! She used the sweetie stamp from. You can see another wonderful sample using the Garden Scraps HERE on Melissa's blog

Design team member Hege Lønning from Scrapbooking.no has created an adorable baby gift bag and great card using images from our Baby Boy Vintage Postcard Kit. I really like the way she embellished the bag and here is a close up but you can see more photos HERE and the card is a cool idea!

I also wanted to tell you about the challenge over at Splitcoast that Lori Lynn Washburn just started to use red, white & blue (but not patriotic). HERE are the details so you can join in and HERE is the Gallery of samples so far - some great stuff! Look at Lori's sweet card Lori made with our Sweet Kids Stamp set!

I was so busy, I missed posting last weeks challenge that Marcy Talbert did for using any of our products and with a distressing theme. HERE is the Gallery and there are some really great projects like the card Marcy did with our new Art Studio set and others!

Lastly, DT member Julie Campbell worked on a special anniversary album for her parents and I've posted some of her pages previously but I wanted to show you the last page she did as it proves layouts can be simple yet powerful. She used a fav photo of her mom & dad and stamped a journal card using the long flourish from our SL14 Flourishes Clear Art Stamp Set. A little inking, lace and buttons finish it off without over powering the photo. You can see the other pages and a great anniversary card HERE on Julies blog

I've gone overboard with samples and I need to leave to go on a mother daughter day with my mom (we are going to the thrift stores!) and she is pacing, so here are 2 more great samples:  DT member Pam Hooten's tag HERE she made with our Glamour Girls and DT member Michel Kovack created HERE with our Garden Scraps!

Wishing you all joy & creativity!
