A New Released Stamp Set and 10 More to Come!

We just received our first shipment of new stamps and I've decided to release one more new set before the CHA show. There are 10 more new sets coming and our design team has started posting their samples now and they will continue as they get the new sets!

This new set is called SL 11 Cherish and it turned out so pretty!

This beautiful large set is full of romance with 17 separate stamp designs that will work for Valentine’s Day, Engagements, Weddings or any romantic occasion. The word LOVE was taken from an old valentine from the 1800’s but it’s so pretty it would even look lovely on a baby layout. You can stamp one of the small matching swirls on either side on the bottom of the LOVE design. The 4 words above CHERISH will fit in the heart (on the bottom left) and ‘Forever’ fits in the banner. This set has a little art deco, artsy tattoo and Victorian romance all rolled into a pretty set to color, play with and cherish!

Here are some fabulous samples! Lisa Zappa created this stunning valentine box using the stamps with papers from our Earthy Paper Pad. Lisa is going to be posting more cool samples on her blog here: http://shabbychickjunk.blogspot.com/ that she has created using the Cherish Stamp Set!
Here is a really pretty set that Vicki created with a wedding card, tag and matching layout. She is going to be posting more samples on her blog but she was in the middle of a storm and lost her
internet. These samples look so classy!
We also have new mini Chipboard Albums coming out at the CHA Show and Vicki made the layout that will grace the cover of our new catalog you can see on her blog now here http://vickichrisman.blogspot.com/2008/01/blog-post_28.html

Here is a gorgeous card that Michelle Wooderson made using the new Cherish Stamps and paper from our Classic Paper Pad - Wow, I love the colors!

Sherrie Siemen's our new design team member created this fabulous seasonal album using our new Sweet Kids Stamps, one of our new Chipboard albums (which neither will be available until after CHA) and our Adore Alphabet stamp set. I think the new Sweet Kids set is going to be very popular and I hope we are not going to drive everyone nuts showing samples now - but you wanted a peek of the new stamps, right? Here is the Spring page Sherrie made and you can see the others on her blog here: http://sherrie-cardcreme.blogspot.com/

It's getting sooo exciting!!! I will be posting a list of all the new stamp sets in the next couple of days!

We Have a New Design Team Member!

I'm so happy to announce that we have a new design team member joining us! Sherrie Siemens is from Abbotsford Canada and she came and ran the make-n-take table for me in October at the BC Creative Show in Abbotsford. The samples she created were a huge hit and she had a constant line up but she was so helpful to every person and so nice! here she is with our design team leader Vicki Chrisman on the left at the Abottsford show and myself.

Sherrie recently got accepted to the Dirty Dozen Team on http://www.splitcoast.com/ so she is a busy lady but I’m so pleased she still can join our team! This are a couple of pretty card Sherrie made and you can see more samples in our online Gallery here at craftysecrets.com

The card with the birds was made using our Bird Notes stamp set and the one below was created with our new Sew Special stamp set. You can see both stamps here if you click on any image with a description of what is included with each set. Please ask your favorite store to carry our stamps if you like them!

We are going a little crazy getting ready for our biggest wholesale show of the year! CHA stands for Craft & Hobby Association and the 67th annual winter show takes place Feb 9 – 13 in Anaheim, CA. It’s a HUGE show, I've heard it's 7 football fields big and we have a little 20 x 10 ft booth but I get so excited about this show! We will be posting a sneak peak at our new products in the next couple of days. We will have ongoing demos, lots of cool samples, great show specials and we also have a class on Feb 11 from 3 to 5 pm called Clearly Better Stamp Ideas! Please ask your favorite store to come visit our booth #3984 at this wholesale show!

Here is a photo from the CHA Summer Show we attended in Chicago in July. I love my new
interlocking floor I bought. It looks like hardwood but it's all cushy and feels wonderful. Everyone wants to come stand in our booth after walking the show floor for 4 days!

New Sew Special Stamp Release and Blog Candy Giveaway!

We decided to start the year off 'Sew Special' with our new stamp set release and more FREE BLOG CANDY YOU CAN WIN! Michelle Wooderson another one of our very talented design team members has picked some of our products to give away and I threw in a brand NEW Sew Special Stamp Set!

You just have to visit Michelle’s blog here to enter and she will do a random draw on Jan 9th. The lucky winner will receive 1 Cherub Stamp Set, 1 Sew Special Stamp Set, 1 Romance Homespun Cotton Scrap, 1 Seasonal Book and 1 Little Girls Chipboard Outfit!!! Wow - this is a great big giveaway!

There are 30 separate stamps on the set and ‘sew’ many creative possibilities! From the stylish dress form to the vintage scissors, buttons, pins, thimble, zipper lace, fashion ladies and more which can be paired with a variety of the sentiments!

Check out these fantastic samples our design team has created with this new set!!! I love this card Michelle created by stamping the fashion ladies twice, the lace and Girl Friend. It's fast, fun and perfect for a friend. Plus it looks great with the floral paper from our Radinate Paper Pad. Check out Michelle's other cards here and don't forget to enter her free blog candy giveaway!

I adore this layout design team member Lisa Zappa created! Lisa swears she isn't a scrapbooker and just wanted to try it out. I sure hope she continues because this LO turned out sew special and the paper colors she used from Pastel Paper Pad look sew good together. Okay, I will stop with the puns!

What about this sweet card DT member Pam Hooten created and the cool way she layered her stamped images and added the lace and zig zag stamp detail! The real pearl pin, ribbon and buttons totally add that extra touch!
This card by DT member Anna Wight was created in those beautiful rich warm earthy colors that she does so well. I love the way Anna used the little stitched daisy stamp and the dress pattern turn her plain cardstock into cool pattern paper that matches the large floral print paper from our Radiant Paper Pad.
Check out this totally impressive faux sewing box that Linda Duke from our design team created. I squealed with delight when I saw how cool the scissor stamp looks embossed on the inside of the lid! The paper she used is one of the faux quilt papers from our Pastel Paper Pad and at first I swore she glued white lace around the box and then realized she used the lace border and the stitched stamp from our set, plus the pins, pincushion, thimble and label are all stamped!

This stamp set is going to be so fun and versatile. Look at the way DT member Janel Brown used the little safety pin stamp on her mini layout here. Janel used the sewing stamps in a mini album she created as well posted in our gallery.

I also had to show you this clever idea that Lisa Zappa had to make a cute and handy gift for a friend. She created a little pocket holder to hold a portable sewing kit from the dollar store and jazzed it up with the new Sew Special Stamps. I just LOVE the way our graphic designer Cindy van Koll, made the thread separate, so you can stamp it in any color over the empty spool!
Now you tell me what girlfriend wouldn’t appreciate one of these to tuck in her purse, office drawer or luggage?

There are more cool cards the design team is going to be adding to our online gallery, plus you can get their supply lists and any little notes or tips they have included if you visit our Crafty Secrets Online Gallery here.

The new sewing set is going to start shipping to retail stores this week and this set is available now from our Shopatron Store here but we just have to get the shipping lowered to $4.95. I know this still seems high and it’s because all the orders have to ship in a priority envelope with a tracking number. If you order it now, I promise I will have your shipping lowered to $4.95 and include a sheet of our Love & Romance Cuts!

PS – Don’t forget to enter to the Blog Candy Give-Away on Michelle’s blog here!

Happy New Year!
