Transparency Snowflakes and Little St Nick Tags

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! It's Lisa Zappa here, posting for Sandy while she's on holiday this week. I've been having so much fun putzing around with Crafty's little St Nick stamp set; I love that this image is large and easy to color!

Over Thanksgiving weekend, I stamped off a bunch of images and colored them, so I could make Christmas tags with them this year. I glued fun flock to his coat and and hat, and glittered his red hat for extra sparkle. I also added transparency snowflakes, made with the snowflake stamp from Crafty's Christmas Joy set.

I used the music notes & registered mail stamps from the "Artsy Banners" set to stamp some vintage backgrounds to the tags, and some old wooden buttons & transparency snowflakes to add some 3-D elements.

Years ago, I started my own tradition of decorating some vintage bingo cards as ornaments, and hanging them on my craft room Christmas tree. St. Nick was PERFECT for this year's bingo ornament!

I love that each year the tree gets more unique. I may start making tags to hang on the tree also...look how fun they look on the tree!

I'll have a tutorial on my blog shortly, showing you how to make the transparency snowflak.es! If you're interested, stop by: http://www.shabbychickjunk.blogspot.com/. Hope you're having a merry ole' holiday season, everyone!

Lisa
